Description
Winner of Lezhin's 1st Comic Contest
Just when Yeonduk thought he was finally going to be free of his tormentor (and family friend and crush, might we add), Seo Skyler – coolest kid in school – saunters his way into the same classroom. Skyler might look blessed (his sister’s even in a girl group), but he’s got some family issues that only Yeonduk can understand. Yeonduk is more than just star-struck, though, and when Skyler starts acting nice and walking to school with him, he can’t help but hope there might finally be more between them.
Original Webtoon:

The plot is so good and you can see how the art keeps getting better and better as you follow the story. This could be a 10 out of 10 for the plot but 9,5 to my liking because i cried my eyes out at 5 in the morning and the trauma hurts me so much!

I really didn't like season 1. I felt like it was executed poorly, I didn't like either of the characters, and overall I just found it frustrating to read.
Season 2 was so much better though. I love seeing creators grow over the span of a series, and I wasn't disappointed here. The character arcs of both main characters were really well done in season 2 and it was a lot more emotionally fulfilling to read.
The last couple chapters did feel a bit rushed in comparison with the pacing of the rest of the story, and I wish we had gotten a bit more about their new relationship moving forward. I also wish there had been more about Leo, either by giving him his own small character arc and turning him into less of a flat character or by showing that Skylar was a bit more emotionally invested in Leo's future.
And one last nitpick is I wish they hadn't changed Skylar's name from Wooju to Skylar since it seems like they kept all the other character and location names.
Overall though, this was a good read and I really enjoyed season 2! I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing new stories from this author.

This is without a doubt one of the finest works on lezhin. This story is packed with backstories that have layers. Characters who are fully realized, and a unique art style that gives them an indescribable charm.
The artwork is not bad at all, but it does feel a little rough in the first season. The artist made noticeable impromentments to her style during the downtime, opening season 2 with a much cleaner look, that still keeps the quirky aspects intact.
The story is brilliantly told. There were only a few moments where I had to retread a former chapter to solidify my understanding of what was happening. For a story this erratic and densely layered, it's a given.
This is a must read from me. If you enjoy reading deep, psychologically themed romance this story hits the bullseye. This story is not fluffy in the least. Though it has sweet moments sprinkled in, it is a heart wrenching tale.
I'm not sure if confeito planet has other work floating around the net. On here, this is her only work listed. If this was her first complete manhwa, I say bravo with the slowest slow clap I can muster.

This webtoon was so emotional. The characters develop and change in a way that is so natural that you dont even notice it until you get to the end of the story and think reflect back on everything that happens. Also the story is very realistic and nothing seems out of place or unprobable. Also the author makes sure to show both perspectives of the main characters so that there is no bias towards one. This story also dwells into acceptance of one's past and mistakes and moving on from it and forgiveness to others and yourself. This story was unexpectadedly deep and way more touching than you were lead to believe based of the cover and summary.

Echoing silkyh13. There's actual character progression. It did get a bit hand-wavy with the school counselor that breaks it to the realm of unrealistic in terms of healing trauma, but it's integrated quite well into the story, because the introspection continues on even up to the latest chapters.
The art itself is poetic and emotional, and just speaks volumes of its silent story-telling.

I would definitely recommend this because the series has a satisfying pacing. Nothing is unnecessary in this story. The backstory is used when it is necessary to help one of the characters reflect about the past and make the best decision for the future.
