Description

When they were children Andy was bullied by other kids. This led to a very serious railway accident, as one day things got out of hand Brandon rushed to save Andy's life. He made it in time but got hurt himself and suffers from epilepsy ever since. This accident has given rise to serious changes in their tastes, personalities and lifestyles. Bran stuck in the role of a victim and let Andy take care of him. What will become of them if Andy's dirty secrets will come out into the open?

I have to say the author has a knack for gruesome horror, I love his stories. 😍 I could easily become addicted, unfortunately much too short. 😭

Now, as much explicit gore as there is in here, this is actually one of the more plot-heavy works of Masumi Nishin (although the plot is straightforward and simple). Do not read this if you're looking to come out of it feeling good, or get attached to anyone, or see sexy and loving scenes. It's a story of two deeply flawed, fucked-up men who cling to and use each other until their inevitable destruction—if you approach it as anything but that, you'll have a bad time.

Docking two points because the detective subplot needed a bit more fleshing out, and because it's never addressed how easy it is for Andy to do what he does without getting caught or rousing suspicion. However, I did appreciate the attention paid to details like epilepsy, drug and alcohol abuse, how one event can derail one's life, and how sociopaths can go under the radar. Needless to say, I found the art gorgeous; Nishin doesn't shy away from showing the nasty bits, and all her characters are distinct. Points for Andy, because that blank stare gave me more chills than the gory scenes.

Personally, the only part of the story that got to me, as a seasoned horror fan, was the animal abuse; fortunately, that part was fairly short, but it was explicit, so be wary of that. As before: read the tags, read the warnings, and don't expect that much subtlety.

It's not that great

I read it a couple nights ago, when i was searching for something that's similar to Killing Stalking/An Uncomfortable Truth/Warehouse.
It's not a long read, even though the panels are dense, and i mean dense, with dialogue. I didn't mind the art style that much, it's more western if anything, but it was well drawn. Maybe at points a bit TOO well drawn.
I like a good psychological fucked up manga with dubious relationship dynamics and stuff, but this seemed more torture-porn-ish to me. Most of the 'sex' scenes are just rape, save for some half-enthusiastic oral.
I can't say i didn't enjoy parts of it, the idea is interesting, but it was mostly just gross and it just didn't have the type of dark ambiance and multi-layered feel i would've liked.

i don’t know that i would call this yaoi? i mean all of it is rape? also it does not at all feel like a oneshot because it is so dense (and also pretty long).

This one is another horror story. I don’t think Andy is an innocent victim at all. He’s rather a psychotic yandere, lacking background, and plays a drama pretending to be a victim. I had few things I like regarding it and some dislikes either. What I like is watching how traumatizing and scarring that is which cools my anger down. What got me off guard and I don’t like are the flashbacks lack dialogues and some plots rather skip. Another thing is you know many people don’t like sad or bad endings or whatever endings they at least expect. The ending seems like a symbolism. Rather than being caught and go back to hellish life, it seemed like Bran’s life just ended literally like his soul is taken to hell by Andy who came back as a vengeful ghost. Though I sometimes dislike this, there are worse bl mangas I read, including Kiraide Isasete, that I hate more. NSFW if you can’t stand uncensored gore.

Difficult to Believe It’s a One Shot

Warning: EXTREME Psychological and Psychical Violence
In my mind, Feeding Lamb is as long as 30 volumes, and I kid you not, even though I read it in one sitting. And, while I was quite aware of what this manga would be about, having read and watched Hannibal Lecter, the degree of violence is not something that one should underestimate. I believe, often times, we foolishly underestimate the ways in which a certain media text will affect us. That is why, as “well done” (pun intended) this manga is, I simply do not like it in the least.
Also, kind of a side track but, I try to be aware of most of my idiosyncrasies, so as to not be taken by surprise, and today I found out (or rather confirmed) what I had excepted all along: subtle, insidious, and invisible violence makes me shudder like nothing else. Unlike plain undisguised evil, blood, and gore, what really knocks me out is the many diffused forms that violence takes. For example, I honestly wonder how many people would agree with me that Mamanaranai Mon de is much, much, much more disturbing and unsettling than Feeding Lamb?

I picked this work out of pure curiosity. It was mentioned in some topic about the most extreme yaoi... I was like: huh? really? what's so special bout this? let's check! So I read it... and now I feel obliged to warn you - it really is extreme, not only because of a big load of nudity. The story is twisted, characters are insane and everything about them is just pathological - lifestyle, relationships, hobbies. It's made with ugly art style of an old American comic book, it fits perfectly those ugly characters. Honestly I didn't expect sth like this, serial killer, slashed corpses, necrophilia and stuff... If I had to guess I'd say the mangaka put a question between the lines - who's really the bad guy here?

I won't say I like it but I don't regret reading it. Anyway it's not my cup of a tea.
