Who's the protagonist?

While reading this noticed that the FL or "Protagonist" is totally useless or just some knowledgeable in trivia.
Lol all she does is be anxious or oblivious.
She is totally not fit to a princess with her overkindness and ability of not to speak what is necessary to conversation.
Something it's annoying how cowardly she is.

It's should have ended

The story although short had a nice end for the couple to get together and although I was curious for a wedding it was satisfying enough. Then months later I see another chapter and the story continues but it feels off and makes everything confusing when it should have had a nice finish earlier.

Poor execution
by Utsukushii Yume

All the elements to make this manga good are mentioned, but never flushed out.

It’s like watching the anime Yona of the Dawn, except they cut out the ENTIRE journey, they cut out Yona’s character growth, and they cut out all the showing of how things happened. They just have Hak verbally, with no flashbacks, tell the audience how Yona overcame many struggles to become the brave and strong woman he loves. The End! Book is over, nothing more to see here. That is how the writing in this story is in a nut show. All tell, and no show.

It tells you the prince is this and that, it tells you how hard he is working, it tells you there are people plotting behind the scenes, it tells you Elianna is in love, it tells you how Elianna has done so much for so many people, but you will see none of it, and what is shown will be glossed over.

Even if the author wanted to ignore the politics, this could have been a fun story about a prince trying to get an introvert to notice him, and how she learns being an introvert isn’t a bad thing, and enjoying books to share with others can actually benefit others although she never realized it. Character chemistry could have been created, and a fun little satisfying journey to love created. But instead we get, the hard working prince loves Elianna the bookworm who also loves him. How and why? Who cares, the art is pretty and the author said so. There are comments like I finally caught you, but we the audience never saw the chase so~…you know…those words have no meaning to us.

It has some funny moments but I feel like it's a bit lacking..

Maybe I'm not used to main characters that's like her. The background story of her and him as a kid when she slapped him was funny though. I mean.. her love for books is funny. I wished there were more interactions like that.

[5 chaps in] Expect passive, innocent, and do-nothing female lead
by jackalan

It's so cringy and stereotype (like one of them popular early 2000s character types) that the female lead is only interested in books, reading, very meek, passive; thinks some stuff in her head but doesn't say them out; is pretty and kind but completely unaware of these qualities about herself.

She assumes a lot of stuff when people suddenly don't flood to her anymore or treat her differently. Then, when the big reveals happen, everyone that has been acting cold to her swarms to her side. All the while, this girl did nothing and say nothing.

It's tedious and eye-roll worthy.
