The Tianyuan God Sect was once the mightiest sect in the great Dashang. Ye Xingyun’s master and also the sect leader of the Tianyuan God Sect, Diejiu ascends to become a deity and leaves the sect in the hands of Yi Xingyun who’s cultivation has stagnated due to missing one of the eight veins.

The premise is fine I guess. The characters are bland and self inserts for the audience, but that’s par for the course with cultivation manga. The only real gripe I have is the fact that the main character threatens every girl he meets with rape. It comes off as an incels fever dream and it’s beyond uncomfortable to watch.
Just wondering why it only shows releases from 6 months ago when 109 chapter have been released (so far)?

A good enough Xianxia about a kid who inherits a very strong sect and uses its power and his skills to get revenge by infiltrating a clan opposing his enemies. Little else is known other than that, like if his sect is so powerful why does he need to use another sect to have revenge and doesn't just attack, or whether he also wishes revenge on the clan he infiltrated or even why he wants revenge, all that has not been explained.
In any case, it's an unusual setting, there are no rebirth or back to the past or transmigration, etc and the MC starts the story inheriting the sect which is something that usually happens way later in this sort of stories. Also, the MC has the typical lacking meridian, what's nobel thou is that he doesn't cure it in 10 chapters as is common and he can actually cultivate, but, when reaching certain state his cultivation is reset, an unusual setting there too.
Characters are also quite interesting, the MC is the crafty guy who might be good or not, and I don't want to spoil anything but he has to battle with how ruthless he's willing to be to get his revenge, Isabella is quite charming with her deceivingly spoiled attitude and the violet hair lass is the boring typical perfect female.
The art is also quite good.
So overall, a good and slightly original approach to the tried formula of the Xianxias.
Edit: Getting to ch.300, it's still an interesting read, it has it's ups and down as it often happens but it's one of the few cultivation stories that can remain being decent/good after the 100ch mark.
