Trans & disabled characters
Rating: 8.0 / 10.0

For anyone interested, there is a really nice chapter of a trans woman meeting up with a friend who had confessed to her back in school when she hadn't yet come out. Well written and accurate (for the time it was written), as well as super sweet.

There are also two chapters that have characters with disabilities, which are also very good. The narrative doesn't try to make the reader pity the disabled characters and instead actively subverts that line of thought in a healthy way. The characters maintain autonomy and strength without romanticizing their strength. And hey, how nice is that?

Overall, this collection was very well written actually and it was worth the time to read. About half of the stories involve brother-sister relationships but they aren't grossly romanticized and are presented fairly realistically, if that makes it better.

Boring stories that don't really go anywhere. Seemed like it was trying too hard to be sensationalist or "deep" but just ended up feeling pointless and gratuitous. That, and I can't stand the art style even remotely.

Not good incest material

6 out of 11 stories either revolves around incest, it was either clear since the beginning or was revealed in the end. I have to say, I am sorta a fan of incest. Ok, don't think that i'm sick or wierd, since I have no siblings, incest is not that disturbing to me. I have read many series about this kind of forbidden love, so I'm going judge this without any bias.

In some stories (the 3 colour-named-ones), the way that the issue of incest was delivered is not satisfying enough. The relationships between the lovers are depicted without proper depth and thus couldn't make the readers sympathize with the pain they suffers. Some sisters were all angsty and the brothers, if reciprocate, feel forced. Moreover the sexual tension between them is overemphasised and ruin the emotional aspect of their love.

The 1 and 2 stories, in my opinion, were OK, with good lessons to think about. Story 7, 8, 9, 10 have the same level of depth but were delivered in a much better way. Story 6 and 11, OMG are by far my most favourite out of the volumn. They're short but well-written. Not much words but the feelings of the character and the situation that they are in are fully conveyed ̣(in story 6: i bet the girl has feeling for him as well; in story 11: the bro was serious about it >.<!). I gave this serie 7.6 overal cause these stories saved it.

The art is quite, let say, "controversial". I like how the artist strongly border her characters. But sometimes, it looks really childish.

with the incest ones
all the brother to sisters ones are bad
all the sisters to brothers ones work out and what not, tragic love blah blah. or At the very least, less damaging

Seems like a bias, or a message that they don´t want to reader trying this... not that I think anyone would mind you, I´m just making guesses here.

This manga-ka tends to add a nice sense of realism... maybe. Not the writer would know, and neither do I, how these events might work out. We´re all guessing. In that respect, so many incest stories kinda water down the topic.

this manga-ka often takes a subject like this and gives it a healthy dose of realism, usually with young kids I.E staples or fetishes that have built up. And he´s generally pretty good.

The first two don´t involve such things, and they deal with much more real topics. The first one is especally nice because it´s someone helping a person without asking for anything.

Hmmm....I don't know what to say about this manga. It certainly had this tragic feel to it, but more on the psychological side of things. I personally enjoyed stories 1, 2, 3, and 9 since they really made me think. But I'm not sure about the rest. Though the chapters White, Blue, and Yellow focused on incest, which I guess would give you an understanding of how incest works.

This manga is very interesting to read. Each chapter revolves around some form of tragedy. Some are just sad and some are just plain bitter sweet.

Still the story is nice, and maybe warms you up in the end of of some chapters. While other chapters leave you in anguish and sadness.
