I'm sure this manga was created just as a marketing tool for the LN but it isn't terrible. However, there's regular time gaps, sometimes several weeks pass with only a casual mention.

Maybe (hopefully) the manga glosses over the details and there is more substance provided in the LN. Things like her not concerned at all over the well-being of a JK who got dumped into another world. I would hope most people would push to provide emotional support for a kid that was suddenly ripped out of their daily life and given the huge responsibility of protecting a whole kingdom.

I also don't understand why the MC didn't even consider whipping up a batch of healing goodness to help the Saintess overcome her shortcomings. To me that would logically happen within a couple days of discovering the usefulness of the MC's powers.

There are other minor plot holes like why there's an entire herb garden in a flowerbed on castle grounds but they are considered weeds. If they're weeds someone should fire the gardener. I'm pretty sure if I left a patch of flowerbed untended it wouldn't suddenly sprout thyme, basil, etc. Maybe they should have used those missing weeks to have the MC scour the gardens looking for random weeds. That would have been more believable.

Short and fluffy and sweet. Not a lot of substance.

Try not to expect much regarding romance. It has a sweetness and lightning vibe due to the cooking scenes. This is a very lighthearted and generic story, but romance is very insignificant in the story, maybe more of that will make an appearance in a volume 3, as written in the LN.

There's nothing really bad about this story but it's just your run of the mill isekai with mostly fluff to keep you entertained. The art is great, of course, and the characters are pretty generic as well. So if you're looking for something short, simple, stylish, and easy to read this is it!
