Learn about tea but hmm

Started reading this in 2020 but I haven't read this for a few month since I caught up (as I had other better things to read and anime/drama to watch).
I love tea, any kind and I admit its quite interesting to learn that many tea have specific brewing process to get the best flavour, and I don't mind the art, its clean and quite nice for this manwha.
In terms of story and characters, I thought it started quite good, strong FL... at first who tries to make the original person a better and stronger person with TEA. But as other reviewers noticed, the plot gets weak with clichés, no real strong characters. And because the Duke and Duchess are billionaires, they can easily open shops and buy sooooo many ingredients/tea easily... just gets too boring. Another thing is the Duke kinda pisses me off. Like give the FL some space, no need to keep forcing a kiss out of nowhere every time and kinda embarrass her in public, geeze.

Anyway, if you like tea and want to learn? - Have a read
Want a good plot and strong characters? - Avoid

I like tea, and it's really nice to have a story introducing it like that.
That's the best part.

Everything else is... "meh".

It's the usual "mix and mash" western culture seen by an eastern person. It's ok, I got used to it, I don't sigh as much as before.
One detail that keep bugging me in stories like this is that modern cravate is from early 1900, so no, in 1765, it didn't exist.
No, guards din't go everywhere in armor (don't even talk about authenticism about it) ; no, servants didn't look like maids from a maid cafe ; etc.
(While I'm talking about guards, if the Duke and Duchess go in town, they would have at least a few guards with them.)

Another thing bugging me is the typical asian reaction to a kiss, like "Oh no, not in front of everybody". -_-'

And lots of anachronisms : tea-party (when they don't drink tea), vitamin (and no one care about it), etc.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
At first, it was nice to see her building her reputation and fighting againt bullying, but the "eveything can be done with tea" is a bit... toot much ?
And, everything else is skipped :
- Need a tea store ? Here it is !
- Need tea from the other side of the globe ? Here it is !
- Need to dismantle a drug network ? Here it is !
I know that "tea" and "romance" are the main themes, but skipping everything else like "ok, it's done" seems too lazy.

Review for what I’ve read up to chapter 104– slow arcs and developments that come to satisfying conclusions. Dumb romance issue possibly building up. Weirdest thing about this webtoon is the duke and duchess’s creepy obsessive, all-consuming clingy love feelings once they get together.

Ain't no plot, just tea

Tea here, tea there, tea everywhere. Love problems? People giving u sh*t for no reason? Life sucks? The MC's tea shall solve it all.

Barely any plot. Boring. Stale MCs. The only good thing about this is, well, the author's love for tea. That's it.

Its just not my cup of tea

I feel this story is way longer than it needs to be. The story was fine, its simple and never forgets that its a story about a woman who loves tea. The art is nice, not really my style, but clean and nice. Many of the characters fall flat, never really becoming important to me. There is no meaningful conflict, just staged obstacles created so the protagonist can overcome them.

Overall the story was ok, I got bored of it 50 chapters in and I'm not fully sure why. I feel a lot of what is happening in chapter 50 has already happened, or could have easily been slipped into the 30 or 40 chapter mark. I wouldn't tell someone not to read this though, I probably just lost interest in it because it isn't my cup of tea.

Story in a nutshell (not really a spoiler)

Would you like to become enlightened by tea by having some kind of tea from the country well known for its tea, in our teahouse, where afternoon tea is served in a tea set, which consists of a teapot in which you brew tea leaves to get the all possible purpose tea, and a tea cup made specialy wide so you could smell the tea aroma better and see the tea color better, and be even more impressed by how incredible the tea is, so that you could see, that the tea snacks you would usually never eat would become something even your country's emeror would eat while drinking tea served in a tea cup.... and then have even more tea?

But I like it, the art is nice, the story is very easy, even the depressing parts are not depressing, cause they don't last more than one chapter. It's a very easy read, and kinda informative. I am even considering reading the story from the beggining just to count how many times I read the word "tea".

It’s a good read. Even though it a cookie cutter isekai the premise of her whole thing being tea and her being academically strong was what kept me reading. But after chap 65 I got bored. The romance is cheesy as hell which didn’t bother me at first because it wasn’t the main focus but now that it seems to be i’m uninterested(but like if that’s your thing with a strong female lead they you’ll probably like it a lot more than I did)

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
after pregnancy was brought up I lost extreme disinterest idk if it was the way it was translated but some stuff she said really set me off. Like how she said something along the lines of i’ll lose my purpose as a wife if I don’t have children. Like wow there. I expect the women that were raised there to say something like that but not you. Considering she’s academically strong and her husband loves her no matter what she does. That’s another thing it might just be like the reader view but is she so slow to see that her husband isn’t even caring about the contract at this point. :T Then goes on to say she’s not ready for kids. Like sweetie considering how blunt her was in the first half. If he truly cared about you having children pretty sure he would’ve said something.

The whole thing is frustrating and it seems to be just milking a dry cow at this point. Wish I didn’t but i’m dropping it now

Give it 10/10 for art 5/10 for progression 6/10 for characters (none of the characters really stuck to me they all felt 2D might be just me)

Her love for tea influence me a little

This manga was slow-paced, and similar to a slice of life story. But as written on previous review, I'm happy that the main character didn't have to deal with a heavy political decision/situation or struggling for the throne, since she's a duchess, just like some other webtoon manhwa I've read.

In my daily life, I prefer to drink tea or chocolate rather than coffee. But for me, tea is tea. That one pack of tea bags I bought from the nearest market, or the lemon tea I ordered in a cafe. But since reading this, I became curious a little bit about tea.

I was just wondering why she hadn't wrote any book about tea in this story. She should wrote it and sold it on her store. Lol.

I'm not a fan of slice of life stories, especially if that is a long-running series. But by focusing the story on the topic about tea, I can enjoy it.

I find it funny that for a country where people drink mostly coffee and consider tea drinking barbaric, they have this established social custom of tea party, a social custom so important among the ladies as to make or break their reputation.

Decent and somewhat refreshing

A slow paced slice of life of a Korean woman transmigrated into an middle ages European type of society, and as the title suggest, it's all about tea and how the mighty tea conforts the MC and paves her road to a happy married life and so on... it's... somewhat uneventful to be honest, but it's strangely soothing, it's refreshing to read a manhua where the MC doesn't have to deal with some kind of ridiculous plot against her, constant bullying or outright abuse.

There are a few subplots going so it may develop in some direction in the future but probably not in a very radical way. It's somewhat reminiscence of Akagami no Shirayuki Hime, not as good imo thou.
