Not a fan of the art, everyone looks a bit too babyfaced for my liking. Plot is very basic enemy to lover scenario, except one-sided on Kaoru's end.
Idk if my reading comprehension is wack but there seemed to be some silly family situation going on? It wasn't that important, just a one page gag.
Lacking on plot, characters, smut, and art. I had some chuckles here and there, but the overall picture is just very underdeveloped.

Best but need more hardcore.

Nice art, easy plot but interesting, not too much dialogue but neat.
Muscle drawing is hot. Only one bad thing is sex is not much and not hardcore at all. When I love the characters, I want to see more of them in that thing. If I look at some manhwa like Window to window, or Oh! My Assistant Webtoon, those ones are very sastifying (maybe they have more chapters).

Surprisingly Delicious!

I bought this one on a whim. I wasn't expecting much from it, cute art styles aren't usually my thing and the cover made me suspect a dramatic story with a domineering top.
What I actually got was nothing like that, and I'm so happy! Both characters are cute, but they're adults who seem to be in their mid-20's. The relationship between the Western and Japanese confectioner feels very natural, and it's nice to read something where the bottom (who grew up in France and identifies as bisexual) is the more experienced and eager one for a change. The chemistry between the two is solid. I believe these characters as friends who enjoy each other's company and as lovers who kiss like they mean it. The manga is extremely short, but they didn't feel underdeveloped to me. I was impressed.
Yes, this manga does hit a lot of the standard BL story beats, but like wholesome hits Tonari no Metallersan, Seishun Radio Pinchers, and Merry Checker, it manages to pull them off in a way that feels natural. It's not overdone or excessively dramatic. The humour isn't forced. And it's the little details that really make this story work - the non-generic clothing choices, the lovingly rendered drawings of the sweets, the bodies which are unexpectedly well drawn and kind of on the muscular side... It's the familiar taste of BL, but fresh and a little bit gourmet.
I do think it could have been longer. It's good that it didn't overstay its welcome, but additional length may have allowed the mangaka to develop the story further. I wanted to see the MC to take his boyfriend to France! One more sex scene would have been good too, though what we got was well done.
Yep, this manga was a sweet treat through and through. Fun, refreshing, never cloying. This is what good fluffy BL should be like. Very glad I took a chance on this one!
