Pretty art and interesting story. But once you end season 1 it's just a boring flashback that ends with characters having completely different personalities. Not entertaining enough to continue.

The concept was actually quite interesting. It was however all over the place and much like what everyone else is saying, the pacing was way too hard to follow. I went to the end just because I was curious and it was alright I guess. But I think it was rushed. There was no satisfaction in it. The Flash back was wayyyy too long. While knowing the backstory is good... It would have been better broken into pieces and events as the ML and FL got to know each other. I'm giving it a 4 because it was interesting to a point and it was close to something really good.

I strongly advise against this manhwa.
The beginning is good and interesting...but as soon as the flashback part starts...I advise you to abandon the reading.
Negative aspects:
- Characters that leave you with nothing
- Endless nonsense
- Time jumps inserted to speed up the story and finish it sooner
- Inconclusive story that tries to be particular but fails to do so
Positive aspects:
- The graphic style

Honestly appealing only to the graphic style in a story that is supposed to convey emotions means that there is a big underlying problem.

I am sorry but it does not deserve such a high grade.

The ending was disappointing and finished on a cliffhanger. Also the background went on too long. Questions we had for the characters (i.e. how was Rune related/ background) were never really answered. The art was beautiful, but overall it was rushed. Pretty disappointed since this had a lot of potential.

started off interesting but the middle and the end of the story are so boring to keep up with that i skipped though most of it. Just to warn the ending is terrible, I don’t think this is worth the read at all. Really awful execution of a good story premise.

Don’t read it to save yourself time unless you just wanna look at the nice art …

The storytelling was not great and was hard to follow. It seemed interesting at first but despite loving the vampire genres I just couldn’t get into it and the ending felt rushed. I wouldn’t even recommend as a filler read in between other manga.

The only reason I managed to finish it was because of my love of vampire manga/manwha.

I don't think I have ever seen a pacing this bad. It was never the most original story - but it had it's moment in the beginning. If you want to give characters an extensive backstory - by all means - go ahead. But tell it in a way that doesn't hinder the story flow. It felt like the author just got bored of what they were writing so they started a completely different story. How long was it? 20 chapters or something? Why?? I actually forgot what the original story was after half of it. And if you think it's going to get better after the flashback. THINK AGAIN. because now we skipped half a year, and you know how we will find out what happened in those 6 months? THROUGH FLASHBACKS! like, what?

Characters are bit lacklustre.
Art is nice though.

Art good, characters nice, plot eh. It's enjoyable enough to keep reading like a small snack, like popcorn per say. BUT nothing is really fleshed out, story is all over the place and the Emporer's right hand man can't decide if he has an eyepatch or not. Honestly if you're gonna create a mediocre story the very least you could do is have consistency. That's like the minimum requirements for quality and professionalism. Kind of disappointing because this series has a lot of potential.
