I made an account just to put this review because I was so bewildered with the story and ending!
To be honest, the MC (The female lead) is an amazing character, however the stupidity and uselessness of the ML is too much for me
But I stilled tried my best to finish because I thought it will get better BUT NO IT DID NOT. IT GOT WORSE!!
I am so sorry I vented out all my frustrations but I just hope my review is useful and if you dont want that kind of troupe, then I hope I save your time by not reading it.

ML is the emperor's brother. The emperor is so blind and dumb. Then ML had captured the MC's family (she is the prime ministers daughter) for treason, on the day that he said that he love her. Then the MC is such a good catch that there are 2 very eligible, kindhearted, and capable guys that pursue her but she still ended up with the ML?!?!
I know putting it simply like that, it would sound interesting but if you read it and see all the stupidity and the blatant betrayal that they all throw to the MC and her family, you will get tired of it! Then the MC STILL ENDED up with the ML, despite his inability to really protect the MC?? Dude, the 2 other guys who pursued the MC had done so much better job than the ML!!

I enjoyed this story. (Jul 3rd, 2022)
The concept started good, but lost its way halfway a through. The app I read it on (which is supposed to have an authorized translation) seemed to have missing panels or chapters. A plot-line would start in one chapter and suddenly be over and resolved without any details in the next. New characters would suddenly appear with no introduction or explanation. Overall, it made large portions of the story very confusing to read.
In my opinion, it’s a good read from chapters 1 through 136, and it would have been better if it just stopped there.
The series originally had fun art style, but changed artists at chapter 153, which was apparently also the start of a new season.

It was a good read, I liked the ups and downs in the plot and relationships. There is an art style change that I'm not a fan of. Although the timeskip drama was fun.
