Description

Guyssss 😭😭 listen. I was actually really enjoying this, though there were some moments where the main characters gave me the ick. BUT. THE ENDING RUINED IT. THEY EVEN TOOK AWAY THE MOST INTERESTING PART OF THIS STORY— THE SUPERNATURAL ELEMENT.

Even the ML’s cousin/psychiatrist comments that the ML is a bastard for doing this. I'M actually so pissed off rn bcs such a good story was ruined in the final chapter. I recommend y'all skip the final chapter and pretend that the story ends after chapter 55. DAMN IT IM STILL MAD
If I ignore the ending, I would rate this 6/10 😜
With the ending included it drops down to 7.5/10 💀💀 I came looking for copper and thought I found gold, turns out I was just looking at a pile of yellow diarrhea ☠️☠️

So at the end it's revealed that the ghosts are really just a collective hallucination that the Mc and ML have. The ML is aware of this fact, but the Mc does not. This is what creeps me tf out. ML’s friend literally says that the ML uses the hallucinations as a tool. A tool to scare, manipulate, and control the Mc to act in the way the ML wants. Bruhhh… and in the final panels of the last chapter, we literally see the ML doing this as he makes up some BS about the ghosts in order to get the MC to have s*x With him.

Their relationship dynamic is still pretty weird to me. Overall it was okayish read.
I really enjoy seeing new chapters posted for this title because they are always entertaining. The art is a little messy, but it actually fits the comic very well and I don't think I would like it as much if it had a cleaner presentation, the aesthetic really brings out a specific vibe which makes the comic more enjoyable. The plot is fairly simple, scaredy cat horror author and haunted soon-to-be love interest, with the author's identity hidden. A unique idea, despite the trope usages, that stands apart from other comics in originality. Horror mixed with comedy is a wonderful combination, and I feel like the author pulls it off well with the apparitions they see and the amusing reactions by the main character.
