That aside I would feel bad for the female lead if she wasn't a play girl before meeting the ML lead. I think the author wanted to give the FL punishment with some sort of bad karma thing going on, and that's why she's in this situation but it was half baked.
She seemed to be going in one direction writing wise but for the sake of the story becoming more "dark" it seems she's going a more generic route.



She's hilarious I'll give her that but so much more could have been done with a character like her.



This female leads character type would usually be an experienced older sister type to a main character giving bad dating advice or would be some kind of rich villain.

But instead she's in a story that had an interesting start but just gets lazier. I am aware that this is based off the novel and I've only seen bad news. This may or may not continue but one things for sure you're wasting your time if you're hoping for "romance". Flirting at most and no real character development. Too much time was spent on side characters who were a much smaller part of the story.
Lyn the concubine "sudden might have jealous feelings for the ML" although the first 50 chapters I was sure her character was going in a different direction. Since this was pre-written I'm going to assume the artist was told to be misleading with her character to attract certain audiences and trap them.

Funny thing is I usually avoid historical, but I like comedy so I gave it a try.

Honestly I don't feel like this is worth rating, it's not a zero but it's most definitely not a ten. I was completely entertained, wasn't bored so that's why I have a hard time giving it a bad rating but at the same time it's not enough to keep me from noticing what's completely wrong in the story.
I think the issue is the lazy writing. The heroine is smart enough to understand her situation but as the story goes on she can only do so much without the emperor's power. She is limited and that's the problem. She can only rely on side characters to make a move so she can eventually make her move. Other then that there's just peace and weak drama.

Stupid and annoying and a total s!ut of a FL to read, Idk why this abomination of a character was created by author but they sure love to tarnish the reader with there horrible manhwa.
On top it of with Useless ML
Other side characters are super underdeveloped why do they love her I mean she is freaking stupid as a dog and cry for her this horrible sh!t is crazy for sure.
The addition of the year with a Horrible harem . Lol
This Manhwa is certified rubbish!

Favorite Aspect: Funny SitCom 🙂

I'm really glad the situation comedy is just funny enough to keep reading, because otherwise the story is pretty flat. You can't assume anything, not because it's mysterious and clever, but because the author just loves to drop in information on a need-to-know suddenly relevant basis. I'm glad some webcomics can be read with adds of free tickets because otherwise I would not have read this, not worth the money.

I cannot wait for the day that the emperor is finally brought down a proverbial peg, like it's gonna be so delicious.

The Emperor sucks, he's so rude to the Empress, our FL, and makes so many stupid assumptions about her when literally everyone is telling him the opposite including the woman he claims to love and is "protecting" from her. He's incredibly immature and idek why he's the Emperor like istg why has no one assassinated this guy yet like what surely you'd get rid of him first right?

The only reason I've read till episode 42 is because the FL is amazing. She's smart, strong, funny, plus she's a huge flirt with a load of confidence which is dope. I love her. I'm just scared the Emperor will become the official ML given how annoying he is; at the start I thought 'oh he's kinda cute' but that was before I heard him speak so rudely and saw all of his bs, now I can't even look at his character without getting pissed off lmfao.

Also the art is cute 🙂
