I get that the entire shtick of this comic is the MC's one track mind centered solely on food consumption, but I really dislike how the characters around him are beguiled by it.

Yes, he is really suffering from a debilitating illness. It's the misinterpretation of his actions that I hate.

What people are interpreting as Good Boy Charm is MC acting on his own selfish desires to the exclusion of everyone around him. Even the game is trying to teach MC that helping other people benefit is a good thing. It's a novel concept for him that he resists unless he knows ahead of time what he will gain from doing it. I'm totally cool with MCs who are selfish psychos that don't hide it (or are purposefully hiding it to be manipulative), but I'm not cool with MCs who are selfish psychos but everyone, including himself, accepts and encourages the behavior just because the situation ends up helping people.

If the author wanted to play it that way for comedic purposes, then I need it to be a bit more extreme. His condition is certainly extreme enough to play it that way. I enjoy comedic misunderstandings, but this is too subtle for me to find funny, and instead I find it annoying as hell.

Another commenter dropped the story at Ch 82. Having now read it, I understand... It introduces a black character, which is great. BUT. Hah...
Yup. Good job, author!

Fights are boring because MC is too OP and doesn't break a sweat. He just wins and everyone is amazed. Yawn.

Really wholesome (korean) foodie webtoon. Insta drop at chapter 82 though. Iykyk.

Only good for the food scenes. MC is pretty unbearable. Typical webtoon. Previous reviewer is correct-- PMScans sucks. Luckily you don't really need to know much plot. In chapter 90-something they translate "whisk" as "whipper".

I made it to chapter 5.
Guy that has been deprived of most foods, for reasons, can now eat them and savors the new/familiar flavors.
If it gets good, it took too long to do it.

As of ch.20, it's a pretty fun story, with a nice MC and side characters. Biggest problem is trying to suffer through the PMScan translations. Arang is much better, but harder to find unfortunately. I'm trying not to be entitled, but how could proofreaders and quality checkers approve the state of some chapters' translations..

Makes me hungry when I read, BUT I HAVE NO ACCESS TO QUITE A FEW OF THOSE FOODS! Like.. the sweet potato latte! Noooo!

MC is a funny boy..

I didn't wanna read it at first cause I thought it would be boring if I just see him buy ingredients and eat but.. he actually goes on an adventure to collect the ingredients himself so-- I like it so far.

If I open the manga on your site, I want to read the manga, not some 12 year old's concept of humour.

Lighthearted, wholesome manhwa about food in a VR setting! Made me laugh quite a bit. The MC is pretty likeable (as the other characters are), and albeit OP, but it isn't the focus of the story, which is great. Makes me super hungry too!
