Well, everything is cute,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
like when they went through the childhood photos, uwah, it's like they were back to good friends, then the rain scene made me sad. Seeing non-chan suffering all this while, and to make her annoyed, he did all those stuff, only so long later, things only cleared up, unbelievable, they were having unrequited love for each other for so long == my my...that is sad..but i like the ending, it is so cute. ^-^
, however there were parts which i don't quite understand what's going on even though i really attentively and slowly read this manga, some parts made me go like, "what da heck is happening here" well, to me it felt a bit all over the place, messy at times. So, the story was above average, and the art i would say is the best part of reading this manga.

wOW! This manga is so cute! I'm surprised at how much the mangaka was able to do in just a oneshot! So much happened in a short amount of time but it was all so beautiful and the ending was everything I hoped it would be and more. One of the best oneshots I've read and it's not too corny either haha

ok, i don't really have standards for what is good or what is bad, what is cliche and what is not cliche.
for me a story is good when it makes me "feel" it.

although ive read quite a lot of other manga with this kind of story, still unlike the others, this manga was able to touch me, so i think it's good.

P.S. and it's a oneshot.

The biggest problem with this story isn't the "6 year waiting time" or the way the characters behaved. If there'd been more chapters, then there could've been more development into the overall writing. Alas, the characters come out somewhat short-handed and uneven 'cos of insufficient development. I've nothing against characters who behave immaturedly, btw, since even many adults can be about the same or worse. Yet, while the writing utilised their traits, I felt it didn't develop their mentalities and characters enough to make up for a strong story.

And the worst part was that the "incident" was darn trivial: if it'd a few more layers and more complexity, the foundation of the story might have been stronger. Then, the writing might have made a lot more sense overall.

However, I'd admit that parts of it were quite sweet and cute.

these kids are in university? they acted like middle schoolers, the guy is a jerk, the girl is a brainless moron, that should have found a boyfriend years before. why was she waiting for this guy? the perfect ending would have been if he confessed and she ends up turning him down for a new guy. lol

i guess this might be good for girls but i'm a 29 year old guy and i couldn't be less interested by this one-shot

i only read it cuz it was categorised under josei....petit comic is a josei publication; this manga though could have very easily been printed in a shoujo magazine....doesn't have things to say to adult women...eventhough they are in uni (yeah right) the story would be exactly the same even if they were in high school

One of the cutest things I've read in ages. It's the typical story of childhood friends falling in love, but it's done so well, and the characters so well-crafted that it feels new and fresh all over again. Absolutely adored how the relationship progressed in a realistic manner, and the little flashback at the end to when he first fell for her as a kid is sweet.

Yoshino Aki's art is lovely, too, as anyone who's read Shuukatsu!! can attest to. Definitely recommended! Try this, and read Shuukatsu!! as well if you haven't already.

Very cute oneshot. I love Yoshino-sensei. True, it is a pretty basic plot, but the way the mangaka developed her characters was amazing. I reccomend pretty much everything done by this mangaka.

This is my first oneshot done by Yoshino-sensei. It kind of reminds me of good morning call, seeing the front page and all... Anyway, the story is your typical childhood-friends shoujo. Its just amusing how the characters played with name-calling... its still a good read though...
