I'm sorry, but the fact that he's divorced is mentioned halfway was certainly weird. I suppose I should have checked it first. Though at least it isn't a huge deal in the story. His ex wife doesn't appear once in the story apart from a couple of mentions of the past.

His mother is a total lunatic and am surprised he still forgives her. If you need to hire bodyguards to protect your girlfriend from your mother, something is seriously wrong. Kinda weird how she mellows out because she certainly didn't when he was happy in his first marriage, so I don't see what changed, he's suddenly more happy?

Apart from that, the story is a pleasant read. There's not too much drama, it's a peaceful romance besides his mother.

A simple and very straightforward story about two individuals from different backgrounds. Unlike the usual tropes and melodrama we see in such stories this was different and was pretty realistic in certain situations. Both leads are strong and discuss everything, which is why there's no bullsh*t or misunderstandings between the couple. There's drama and there's a good way to solve the drama. This is what this manhwa did perfectly. In my personal opinion I think the spinoff was a better story overall than the main especially because of the less dramatic sequences the main story had. Just read this. You won't be disappointed and yes, you can certainly read this without being able to watch the k-drama since they don't really have any such inclusion of the main leads from the main story.
