Just endure dumbness of FL in second season, third is hopelessly romantic.

Man, this was a sadder case than usual. Usually, the premise is good, but the writing bad, so it turns into trash fast. Not the case here.

Here, the whole of season 1 is actually pretty good but then, as season 2 comes, Blair's brain cells leave faster than an antelope flees when it sees a pride of lions running it down. In addition to this, the male lead cranks the usual "my will is the only way" up to 110 (out of 10). And, since this is a manwha, of course Blair bends to his will every time, and even if she tries not to, circumstances always "force" her to. Except they don't, she has just lost all the brain cells to see any other solution to, well, anything. It's sad to see this happen, again. In addition, the author keeps reusing the same plot device (ML screaming like a petulant child whenever she's talking to someone outside of his supervision) to make sure that the story is not going anywhere.

Man, I liked this too...

Guess I must have a thing for tsundere characters cause I very much enjoyed season 1. 10/10 would recommend. Then the story slowed down to a crawl. I want more loving moments between the leads after all that they went through and not just some superficial "I love you" scenes. The whole concept of gods and attempts to explain the intricacies of different stories overlapping made me confused and lost interest. The art style deteriorated as well. The eyes lost their details and the body proportions were more distorted. Usually the big heads and ginormous eyes are used for kids but then all the characters started sporting them. Overall, the story started off good but went downhill because it became too politically centered.

I really liked the first season, but I didn't think the second and third seasons were really necessary. The two later seasons dragged and the storyline became a bit muddled. A bunch of new characters were added and plot kind of went all over the place. It felt like filler to me, rather than a well thought out story. That being said, the art was pretty good and I do think it was worth reading!

A lot of the reviews seem pretty negative so I thought I'd add mine.

I really liked it. It was interesting, funny, and thoughtfully done. They didn't dive into a horribly complex plot and it had good comedy. I liked how the MC wasn't all powerful and any "gold finger" she had was explained and understood by the end of the story. She was the literal definition of a regular, imperfect person getting transmigrated into a story and figuring shit out.

A semi-important part about her is I just thought this might have changed some parts of the story if she had it by shaping her decisions and I get why she chose what she did in the end.

Overall would definitely read this when I want a lil sprinkling of angst, a lot of comedy, and a normal, lovable MC lol

To be honest, I reread this at least 2 times because I could not remember the plot. So recently I reread this for the third time and I must say that the plot is interesting but the characters are kinda boring. Except for the ml, in my opinion, Blair is just so generic and typical that my last 2 brain cells can figure out what would she say next or do next. Season 1 was fine but season 2 is just Blair being oblivious to advances by men, Claude getting jealous repeat like ermm ok. At this point I’m reading this for the ml because watching thr fl just makes me so frustrated

Season 2 is okay. Season 1 is okay. Okay in different ways but I don't think the quality changed much between the two seasons.

Honestly, I'm a huge sucker for anything and everything crossdressing - especially when it involves the ML, which is a RARITY to find (as I'm sure anyone in the same camp all already know). But mannn, I don't even remember how far I got before I dropped it. I had to force myself to keep going because the FL is just....too flat. Too superficial and generic. It just doesn't feel like there's any life to her or the story, as much as I really WANTED to like it. The idea has tons of potential but for me, the manga fails in proper execution.

Season 1: 6.5 Generic but still lovable Isekai Shoujo
Season 2: 2 (for the art, and not being offensive I guess)

Season 2 mainly consists out of the FL's remaining brain cells killing each other. If I had a nickel for every time the FL asks a "Why" or "What" question in her mind, to something every other character and reader knows the answer to, I'd be rich. She could easily be exchanged with a cardboard cutout of herself -that's how useful she is to the plot. Actually, I'd prefer the cardboard version given how insufferable every single line of dialogue from her is. She is 2 IQ points away from not remembering how to breathe. When she opens her mouth I now expect saliva and incoherent gibberish to come out instead of a cohesive sentence.
I feel great pity for the ML, who fell for the dumb-dumb before she underwent lobotomy and is now stuck with a partner whose brain is stuck at the development level of a hamster - or a very smart amoeba.

Have you ever watched an episode of "Blue's Clues" as an adult, seeing the host ask "oh where is the window? Can you help me find the window" and you thought to yourself, haha, silly host - it's right behind you. THAT'S SEASON 2 IN A NUTSHELL.

I've read up to chapter 54 but will now be dropping it. I really enjoyed this one until season 2. The FL has always been oblivious to advances from men but now it's been cranked up to 100 and it's just too much.
