I've read the 9th volume. I think the main guy is the best and the most logical guy in shoujo history. well the girl is just a normal clumsy girl she is not a complete idiot or dense, actually very straightforward. I can tell I like the girl and guy both.
there is drama but it's not stabbing your heart - at least up until now. well but after I saw there are 34 volumes. I wonder how will things continue. I mean it has been ages since I've read a cute, not heart piercing romance story. I hope it will continue like this smoothly. cos once in a while I want to read something very normal and less intrigues and evil in it.

The first thing that I noticed about this manga was the art, as that is usually of top importance for me. Though the art in this manga is pretty horrible in the beginning, it improves to bearable status.
More importantly, though the story moves slow, there really aren't any fillers in the chapters. The reason why the story appears to move slow is because she (the mangaka) weaves so many character relationships around the main couple, to make several different points. What I especially admire is that all the [main] characters are real and likeable, and every single one has a different personality. The real-life issues addressed within this manga have not gone out of date either and there are some very nice lines in a lot of the volumes. Another aspect that kept me reading was the humor. It's subtle at times and blatant at others, but it's always there. Last thing I have to say (and I suppose praise) about this manga is the wonderful character development. We start with a naiive shoujo girl, but she learns from her mistakes and slowly becomes more mature. Though many people have said the development is painstakingly slow, I think we all have to admit, no one changes that fast. This story takes place over a relatively long time period, and the main characters are at the age of self-discovery, which contributes to their growth as well as their personal issues. The guy in particular makes a lot of changes pertaining to selfishness and other things, but he is the "nice-guy" in shoujo, about the farthest you can get from today's shoujo "bad guy." Overall, this is, while it's not entirely touching, an enjoyable read and realistic shoujo. The "first-time" relationship vibe is executed wonderfully, but not overused throughout the manga.

Art gets a whole lot better throughout the serie (especially the last few vols), and not to mention DRAMA~ sweet story with funny moments.. if you want to read something sweet, light, funny.. with the right amount of drama, then this might interest you.
Who knows, you might enjoy it but then again you might not ^-^ It's always best to try and see for yourself then to listen to what others have to say about it.

a very simple romance shoujo manga. i like it. if you are a fan of shoujo manga, then you should try this. it's not really dramatic. it's light and cute. i can't imagine why it's 32 volumes though? but i would read up to the end. although it seems that they've stopped scanning.. how sad.

I just found Mika annoying. She butts into her sisters love life because she wanted Ryuuji off of her back. Which is rather selfish. She then demonstrates an unhealthy relationship with her boyfriend, it is natural to want to spend time with your boyfriend, but your family is also important. You do not have to spend every waking minute with your boyfriend. Mika is so dependent on her boyfriend that everything she does revolves around him. From the college she picks. to everyday decisions.

A sweet, funny, slow space romance. Shows the relationship betwen the main characters since they met and started dating, their normal strugles as a couple, and how they progress together.
Its slow enough so you can apreciatte every detail of their relationship but not enough to be bored of it (Like what it can happend in Kimi ni Todoke).
The protagonist is a normal girl, kind of typical, but not irritating. The boyfriend is very likeable: while he is a normal and simple boy, is interesting and complement her.
The art is clean and pretty. You may think that there are way too much volumes but trust me in this one, it does not get boring but improves every time.
Im reading if for a second time and Im glad I did, I had forgotten how funny and sweet this manga was.
So, if your looking for a simple, heart catching romance, this is it.

I just read up until chapter 12 now and the story developes very slow so far and the relationship between the protagonist and her boyfriend is more childish than serious. But I think it's a simple Shojo-Manga you can give a try to. But what's really getting on my nerves are this moments, when Takada's elbows touch Mika's elbows and she's getting exited as if it would be a big deal, for example.
I also dislike the arts so far, but I already saw, Nagata-sensei draws very well, meanwhile.
Well, if you feel like having a simple and nice Shojo-Manga this one is the right choice for you. Plus it is nice in it's own way.

This manga is good but you have to be in the mood to read a VERY typical shoujo and have patience because the story develops slowly not to mention that is full of drama....although with some humor in between of course. I really like the art, the only thing am concern is the length even if the volumes are short....i really hope there will be quite the complete ending after so many volumes.
