I wish authors would stop writing things to make the MC look good through things that make absolutely no sense in a MMO. How in the hell would no one try to make Musketeer work before him?

MMO players are not normal people, since most of the challenge is self imposed, they WILL impose themselves dumb challenges for bragging rights, or plainly for the heck of it. Auto-assist? People would turn that thing off even if just for RP and immersion. People learn sign language and how to break dance in Virtual Reality for much less than this.

There are so many things like this (in which MMO players would try and do it in a heartbeat) seen in this manga, but it's not something special, since it's widespread on the subgenre. From crafting, to classes, to tutorial quests.

There are players that spent 6000h to get to max level in wow through picking flowers ffs, while another reached by only killing boars. So most of the things that were achievements in this manga would never work in an actual MMO environment.
Not recommended, even as a brainlet read.

Most of the story is the typical VRMMO-type plot with a protagonist becoming overpowered for no reason. The author handles some things well, like the NPC humor or the extended questlines.

Other things are handled, shall we say, less well. For instance, to make the action exciting, the story regularly brings the protagonist into melee range, even when this makes no sense whatsoever. And in-game items can be exchanged for ridiculous amounts of real-world money. And at one point the protagonist swears vengeance on another player for a rather nonsensical reason. Etc.

MC is too childish and the authors attempt at comedy falls flat. For the rest its the cliché of worst and unbalanced class but MC makes it OP killing stuff far above his level etc.

It's a fairly typical story: tragic backstory, MC goes into the MMO world and picks the "worst class", people look down on him because of that class, he meets a motley crew, etc. We've all been here before. However, the art and comedy really drive this for me, there's just enough plot and progression (fairly fast given the novel version already has the path laid out) in each chapter with the laughs that keep me reading chapter to chapter.

I'd say if you're hesitant, give it until at least 10 chapters as the set up chapters don't necessarily represent the rest of the manhwa well, if you like it then it will be more of the same throughout and if you don't, then you've only wasted ~20 minutes.
