This isn't the worst office romance out there and the FL is one of the better FL for this genre. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone touchy about genders (honestly I wouldn't recommend most gender benders to anyone touchy about gender), but anyone else looking for a filler office romance to skim while waiting for their main books to release, I'd have no issue recommending this to them since the overall story is just ok.
The FL isn't being wishy-washy about her feelings, she sorted them out and the only thing holding her back is her parents upbringing which shockingly enough is a believable reason to prevent her from confessing her feelings.
She isn't bouncing off of 2 men either which is something I don't usually see in these stories as she does turn people down, not firmly enough, but way better than the FL that has to have the ML turn down all of her suitors.
The love is of course shallow as no one really has any chemistry or know anything about each other so when they say things like "I love everything about you" I the reader cant help rolling my eyes at how the author is confusing lust for love.
My biggest issue with the plot is how long will it take for her brother to heal, even if he is faking it why hasn't she questioned the doctors about it? Also why didn't the author just let him be the full body cast person if you wanted the brother to be out of commission for so long? Her brother has been out of commission for so long that it feels more like he is out of commission because the author said so and not because he actually got hurt.
Time is a reoccurring issue in this story, deadlines keep getting set but the author doesn't properly help us the reader keep track. We see days go by and characters will vaguely bring up the time crunch only when convenient to the plot. Also despite being on a time crunch, aside from the characters just mentioning it to us, no one is really acting like they are running against time, I find that annoying.
