Look, the male lead and his brother were EVERYTHING. Ditrian is THE standard, omg, one of the tops on my list of male leads fr, he isn’t just a green flag, he is EVERY green flag in existence he is a FIELD of green. However! Story-wise, perfect characters just aren’t as interesting. He’s so perfect that it’s cute and wholesome, but it doesn’t induce super passionate emotions! Characters need growth or complexity, and while it’s way better than tacking on a tragic backstory to substitute for that, unfortunately he still comes off a little flat. And so does what’s her name too, the female lead, for the same reasons.

Other than that it just kind of got… boring? Yeah, they’re super cute and the mom’s a Beeotch, but then what. Someone said in their review that they only read to find out who the wings were, I relate to that hard. I also wanted to see if the brother was going to play any role in this but couldn’t be compelled to read far enough to find out so I’ll just have to live not knowing that.

The events in this manhwa come quickly and this makes me not feel bored in any chapter. The characters are attractive and all worthy of admiration, especially the hero. He is truly a different and wonderful character..
I felt some change in this manhwa, unlike others, where the hero is the king of a weak kingdom, almost deprived of his rights, and is despised in the empire. This gives me a feeling of additional admiration for the efforts of the king’s character to continue.

Not sure why but I found this series really boring. It felt overly mushy and there were too many annoying misunderstandings that only served to further angst. I literally only kept reading to find out who all the wings are.

So sweet, such healthy character growth. Just a bunch of wonderful feels

The story is actually good, the character and the art undoubtedly masterpiece as well. My concern is that, the author could've put all the background story in the start instead of putting in each chapters. Some background stories were repetitive and it was annoying..

It is just me or delivering words by the MC makes him a pushover? Normal people do still maintain their pride especially if it may bring good to the people around them.

If you compare it in a office situation, the one at fault do accept their mistake for the good and success of the company and not to have a degrading feedback from the client, so, what he does is unacceptable for me.

Feelings and politics is rarely compromised. It may be for the good of the people or for the good of oneself. But is that era, kings, emperor, sultan or whoever man rules have their own consort for political reason and may be for their feelings as well so it's understandable that he may bring another woman aside from his political wife to his own place. From the point that he said that he already failed as a king of his kingdom since political marriage is one of the reason why empire become stronger.

But overal,l it's good to read. I'm just waiting for the character development and hoping that it will not turn out worst

- been on an oi binge recently to blow off some steam. this was the second one from the past week that i deeply enjoyed. read up till all the chapters avail and then some novel spoilers too even
- i really like the magic and intrigue of the world. i think the concept of holiness and wings and gods and goddesses and whatnot are just so !! cool like im actually starving to meet one of the characters (callisto) i read about ahead of time. the plot is slow yeah but it’s actually interesting.
- fl (the FIRST leticia, sorry my husband hides my beauty) and ml (ditrian) are adorable omfg. she’s like actually very competent and he’s so into her. ditrian is literally the perfect man. but her life is kinda trauma porn like really bad T.T ppl in her life are cruel for the sake of being cruel but she’s very determined and in love w him and i wish she had some other thing besides “goodness.” i’m rooting for her character dev! also her og life w him makes me sad
- okay honestly their relationship was not the one i liked the most. it’s actually her wings, arwin and noelle. fl and ml are so perfect for each other they’re a tad bland but the wings story is so!! enrapturing
- no explanation for fls moms (josephinas) behavior and tbh i wouldn’t accept any redemption arc or clarifying backstory for her like she’s awful
- the adaptation is currently just teasing the god/goddess/dragon thing rn but the adult dragon version is wow! wish we got more soon explaining gods + holy power in the world
- large cast of characters, some very mild comic relief, absolutely stunning art. romantic development is cute!!

overall: 8/10 cuz i want to wait a bit more before i decide to like it more but just wow! i haven’t read an oi yet where the world and plot line and thriller/fantasy aspects are actually like draws of the work, rather than decorations. looking forward to more!

Author-san describe super detail of the tragedy that happen to female lead and male lead. Those chapter torture me too much. If author-san did not begin with those abuse for around 15+ chapter and make those a flash back, it should be better for my weak heart. Actually I come for fluff, so I skip those m chapter in the beginning. LoL
