I love omegaverse stories, and I really liked the art in this one. This had a toxic ML for sure so there’s those red flags however they’re common in Omegaverse stories, so I was prepared for that when I decided to read this.

I think we caught me off guard was just how much time is spent in the story on everything the MC endures to keep his promise to the ML… I mean, we’re talking all the abuse that ML put him through not knowing he was the MC… It was excessive bordering on me dropping the story.

But then when they finally do get together, everything is rushed at the end - to the point where the last chapter almost felt like it was missing panels not just because of the time skips but also because of the plot holes.

All things considered even if you’re just looking for smut I think I should have just passed on this one.

As always the author turns into a trash a seme but for the power of love we have to accept a disgrace like him?, you're kidding right?, he doesn't deserve to be one of the main character, he's a disgusting man who use his traumas to affect the rest and the most affected was his so called "love of his life", the omega gives loyalty and never sleeps with anyone else while already knowing what a manwhore he is. Gosh.

It's a good FAP material. But there are a lot of plot holes that made the family field very unbelievable. Why the father don't do anything😕

The art is great, typical silhouettes and art style that most korean BL uses so it gets the message across and is recognizable to the average audience. It's clear from the jump that the sharp jawline characters are mean and the round face characters are humanized and the backgrounds transition from office to road to the same few rooms in the mansion so nothing to add or criticize.

In terms of the story however, the entire series really reads like a trashy drama with plenty of cliches. There's infighting among rich people and the old people are old and mean and bad at communicating emotions while the MC and love interest are linked by childhood etc. I wouldn't be mad at this except for the extreme sexual violence at the start that the dialogue in later chapters just never revisits or shows any meaningful consequences for in the relationship between MC and love interest. Sure, the love interest has a villain origin story that somehow explains his violence but the MC is a victim of it and just lets it go? Sticks it out for a childhood promise that was already fulfilled (that he says so himself) in the middle of season 1? What theme did all that violence contribute to? There was already going to be a Cindarella love story, what was the repeated instances of violence supposed to add to. The love interest was already going to be indifferent, the stakes are not higher because of this violent introduction, and it doesn't facilitate any personality change or development in any key players that wouldn't have already happened. If a character is going to be sociopath in fiction, you can't just magic that personality away in the name of love without exploring how they change or consequences they face.
