this is pretty good. The lead is great, her husband is...ok. The politics isn't exceptional but also has no flaws for now.
The story pursues a decent explanation for why the Return happened. There's a couple of mysteries yet I'm also content with just watching the daily life and growth of the area.
It's good.

My personal favourite is that it's "creepy" for a woman who is mentally 29 to be with her husband who is 23. Ooooh a six year age gap how cccrrreeeppyyy. The other top contender was a woman hating another woman for what she did, not her gender, was misogyny. Actually that one was probably stupider.

Once you take off the rose-tinted glasses and realize the main character is in a 17 year olds body, the whole thing just feels creepy to read.

maybe i should’ve read more but as soon as the protag started in on the bullshit ab “separating nobles and commoners” i was out. you are notttt remarried empress’ing me - i will not pity a bourgeois woman for some poorly written other woman trope. can’t stand the misogyny or classism.

Favorite Aspect:

While the general premise of this webcomic is not particularly new or unique, the story has decent writing and lovable characters. (Not to say that the writing at the beginning is perfect. I sure wish authors could do the "cold spouse due to communication issues a liiitle bit better.) Just watching the characters interact is the best part of reading this story, and watching their relationship develop is a treat.

You Might Also Like: If you're here for the "cold spouse becomes nice spouse after time shenanigans" then I don't have any other recs at this time, though there are other great stories in this genre to find.

The art is really nice and the way the artists draws the male leads expressions chefs kiss. Honestly I find misunderstanding tropes extremely frustrating but

the fl begins to understand the ml very quickly, and by the time I’ve read up to ch40 she really understands him and why there were some of the misunderstandings which made me keep reading.

The thing which I really don’t like about the manhwa is the fact that

the misunderstanding in the previous life could have literally been solved with a 5 minute conversation and how the fl only thinks of her son from the previous life and barely ever her daughter (idk if the author did it on purpose but it makes it seem like she had favouritism between her kids).

Update: This totally fell off the moment it became r:15+ . Hate this whole concept of authors changing the rating half way. Let’s focus on the plot and not the mls muscles like I literally dgaf about the fan service
