Description
In Aeria, a place where people from various worlds are summoned, the weak are destined to die. Lee Sungmin, a talentless mercenary, was no exception. Fortunately for him, a mysterious item he finds before his untimely death sends him back to the past. Now a 13-year-old with a second chance at life, Sungmin begins his desperate journey to become Aeria's strongest with no money or talent. The question is... will effort alone be enough to make a hero of a boy with absolutely nothing?

There's actually conflict in this manhwa. It's not just an OP MC. He can lose, and things don't always go his way.

It's nice, much more in-line with the kind of manhwa I've been looking for.
When I read the synopsis, I thought this was going to be another one of those boring OP MC's, who basically has little to no obsticles pretty soon after his regression, following the whole "I know where all the OP items and strategies are". And within 15-20 chapters, you end up with a MC that's essentially unrivaled and never struggles.
But it's definitely nothing at all like that. In fact, throughout the whole first season, he'd barely won any fights. Most of the time he loses, or gets bailed out. He doesn't have the talent to catch up to others in terms of skills. He isn't really strong enough to make use of a lot of his memories like stealing a boss/dungeon before its discovered. He constantly falls into various mental issues like depression, or an inferiority complex, which SLOWLY get better as the character develops.
To clarify, he obviously gets stronger. But everyone else doesn't just stay at a standstill. His allies, friends, and enemies all get stronger as well, and they so much faster with much less effort.
You might think it'll be like some of those manhwa where the MC gets stronger than people with talent by "putting in more effort" to the point of breaking his body, but even that's not enough to close the gap. It's not some idealistic world like that.
And what's nice about all that compared to other manhwa with this kinda synopsis is there's ACTUALLY conflict. You don't know if the MC is going to win a fight or not. You don't know if the MC is going to catch up to his allies/friends or not. You don't know how he's going to get himself out of X situation. The MC doesn't have some kinda "hidden plan/strategy" for every fight.

It started different, but ended with the MC being pretty generic. It is a bit like Naruto and Sasuke, but Sasuke is a chick and the love interest and much stronger. Not a bad structure for an action fantasy adventure. The key aspect of the is that is talentless and really hard working, but I think they went a bit too far with how "hard working" and "talentless" the MC is. I don't think a person can do the things he did and be as unchanged as he was afterwards.
Not amazing, but fine.

The usual regression stories always write the MC the same, but NOT this one. Instead of being OP this protagonist is beaten physically and emotionally by others (especially himself). Despite having some issues with himself, he is very devoted to gaining strength. Just like anyone else in his position he is trying to find his self worth in a strong world. It's a very different read and I really recommend checking this out.
