Um wow... for a story with so much homosexual content and a cheeky title full of homosexual insinuations, the conclusion has a surprising amount of heterosexual romance. I'd dare say that about half of the yaoi fans reading this will be disappointed with the ending as it stands, depending on who your favorite character was.
The story is not about romance. It's dramatic and well-developed, but there is not a "love heals all" sort of happy ending. Certainly, this is an interesting alternative take to homosexual couples that breaks some (but not all) of the clichés found in mainstream yaoi manga.
Therefore, keep in mind that this is a heavy read of 11 volumes- most of it angsty- and skip it if you are looking for a happily-ever-after sort of yaoi romance because you won't find it here. On the other hand, if you enjoy reading about messed up relationships and character growth through various trials in one's life, definitely find the time to check this one out.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of how it ended, I admit. (laughs) I thought the way the story developed was too misleading to have that sort of ending.
(On a side note, the writing itself was beautiful. Just the way the sentences flowed together and the way the author phrased and described things was amazing.)

I have just only read the first 5 chapter and I am already hooked. The first time I read the manga was 3-4 years ago and what hooked me to this manga was of course, the unrequited love.
The manga will cover several characters altogether and unveiled their life as homosexuals. It's sort of like a coming of age manga. How the characters from many hardships and lesson learned be more mature.
In the first volume, the readers will be introduced to Tsubaki and how he harbors feeling towards his friend Kaoru. From here on the story will get darker and darker. Definitely an angsty manga.
Up until now, I still don't know how the story goes after the first volume. I tried to read the 11 raw mangas, but it's not use because you need to read the text to understand the story. (pathetic me)
I wish one day, I can understand what happen to all of the characters. Definitely worth reading !
I can only give 8 for now eventhough I actually love this manga so much. Cannot give it 10 until I read more ;_;

Damn where the hell is the rest of this series? Why drop such a promising series?! I know its a bit on the old side now but the art isnt that bad and the story has me hooked - by chapter 4 i was dying for more. Its not a happy tale so far, but its addictive in its intensity and the ups and downs. Its realistic whilst also not being realistic, if that makes sense. Its angsty and harsh but you can appreciate it more for those qualities. I really really want to see more of this series.
