Description

Following a near-death experience, an otherwise ordinary young man named Noah finds out that he has become immortal. Deciding to make good use of his abilities, he becomes a bodyguard, but an unexpected side effect of his powers forces him to quit the job.
It's then that he meets a shady-looking man named Allen Lewton, who offers to take care of that particular side effect in return for his resuming bodyguard work...

Note: Pocket Comics counts the side story and extras as chapters and also includes an epilogue.

Immortality and bodygaurd story

I will start with the good of this webtoon. I enjoyed the premise but I think it has not been delivering and I had to drop the story @ the 11th chapter. I liked how it's the seme (?) wanting Noah to know that just because he cannot die and is immortal, does not mean that his life is worthless. That Noah should value his life more especially because Allen is interested in him. That as an immortal Allen for example does not want Noah to be a 'human' bullet shield. I enjoyed the two MCs character designs and the art was actually nice too.

But Unfortunately I had to drop this. The 'quirk' that happens whenever he comes back to life....just to prove a point that Allen didn't fall in love with him only because of that was....kind of randomly thrown in the equation of Noah being immortal. There are other instances where the story was a bit awkward (e.g. that random brown haired guy appearing and disappearing in that one early chapter.) . Ultimately I really enjoyed the premise of an immortal needing to learn his life does matter, and should not get hurt as a bodyguard just because he cannot die but augh

I just can't understand it 😅
So weird and story throw everywhere without any phasing like it's just so random but I can't deny it's got really better till the end
Idea is good but development is so bad, can't believe she is the author of 'Nanohana Boys' aka one of the best webtoon out there and most ironic part for me is the fact Nanohana Boys is her first work but this one is more amateurish lol

As webtoons are the new "fade", I've been determined to try reading a couple of them to decide if they're as decent as their ratings proclaim. So far I've read one yaoi webtoon (Dark Heaven) that I did not think was utter trash. Sadly, Dial Again is as close to the trash bin as they get.

There is a pattern going on in recent webtoons where the phasing is just off. The story is all over the place, the characters lack personality and the progress between the couple does not feel natural, more cringeworthy. I'm kind of tired of this and my eyes are tired of the constant rolling.

Dial Again is not the worst I've read, got to admit that, but it is boring. I'm quite sure in the right author's hands the plot could've been quite interesting, but as it is now? No, not recommended.
