Definitely worth the read

What can I say, it was at least refreshing. Okay, now I made it sound like it was super bad. It wasn't, just not super good either. It's something I've never read before.

I think the romance was okay because of the way she was decoted to Angelo. But a lot of things were spelled out to us - like that Angelo and Safinia simply love each other. There wasn't a lot of buil-up, it was like getting a cheat sheet and "here's the story from there".also, the love at first sight because of her beauty and all is a bit cheesy and the romance wasn't that gripping.

It was fun though to read something else from the "notice me senpai" mangas. It has some darker tones and a psychopath, but obviously our MC is very pure til the end. It could have been super psychological and a very deep manga, but it just isn't... There's lots of manipulation but it just wasn't executed the right way.

Bottomline: if you are bored and want to read it something a bit darker but actually doesn't feel that dark, then go ahead.

Interesting concept

I must say this Manga has a very interesting concept and a great potential, but i was still rather disappointed. The levels of manipulation and the trauma afflicted on the protagonist could have been build into an excellent psychological depth; also the romance could have been made a lot more believable with some more detail and development. Instead the story has a somewhat rushed feel to it and the originality of the story is pushed into clichés therefore giving the story a much lighter effect than the dark themes (insanity, cruelty, manipulation, revenge) of the story deserve. It is as if someone took an originally good story and pulled all the impact it had out until it fit into a Shoujo frame and style, which is an absolute shame. Having said all this the story is still better than the average cliché Shoujo story.

This story is alright. The art is not the best, and it takes some time to get used to it. The plot was unique but I don't think the romance was well developed at all.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I don't get how Leonardo fell head over heels for that girl. I get that she looks like a "wind spirit" which is probably what he's into. Maybe it's "love at first sight", which I'm not into.

Overall, I was able to empathize with the main characters and understand where they're coming from. I think the story would have been better minus the romance.

It's unexpectedly good. Don't judge a book through its cover (like me). The plot is simply like no other; the characters all have depth. You always want more after each chapter, and then you realize that you've became hopelessly addicted to it. Read it once and you will never forget.

Has a potential

This manga has a potential to have a really good romance as it's progressing *kiss the translator*. And there's nothing better than a historical romance with a bit of twist: falling in love with the enemy and the bad guy who is evil and hard to read
