The End

Overall this was a great read, it will leave you happy in the end. Many people might hate male leads who are indecisive and wimps, and yet people need to realize despite those traits they are usually the ones getting the majority of the love interests. Sure its unrealistic but how long would the story last if Masuo was decisive... one volume, maybe even two. The manga does have a lot of misunderstandings which account for

of the manga which is over kill but you will not stop reading till the end. The only regret I have is the ending which should have been longer in regards to the final couple and explained how their fears were overcome. The ending kinda seemed like it was rushed however none to less it is a very good read. Recommended for all those who love the classic drama romance stuff.

It starts off pretty much as a big cliché, but it's a good read to pass some time.
To be honest, though, I did find the formulaic approach to get pretty boring, halfway through volume 4 I skipped to the final volume to see the happy ending.

Read if you like sweet stories

goldminer is ridiculous. This is drawn in a cartoony style, as is nagisa and everyone else. What makes the main character ugly compared to anyone?Glasses? something a lot of people find endearing... Early in the manga there's only three contenders, while other ones of varying qualities come and go. The main character is actually the one with the second best job and the second best looks relative to the other two. He's fit but not muscular ect. He's also the one that gets a long with Nagisa on a day to day basis as oppose to having nothing in common with the other two or less compatible(I don't want to use the word incompatible) personalities on a day to day basis.

Let's also be clear that both main characters are trying to figure out how to have a relationship and it's not just one constantly screwing up or making mistakes. In a very pure way, this becomes about how hard relationships are while also showing the good.

goldminer also has no concept of what nature dictates. And doesn't understand that there's more at work in surviving than just beauty. There's intelligence in surviving, behavior that allows people to get along ect. There's also no one standard to beauty either.

Also about what kanakosoup says; The manga doesn't start out with the main character with a lot of women surrounding him, and he starts by being told he will have horrible luck with women. The main female character has only had one very short, comedic, big eared guy pursuing her at the beginning. It's a long manga and the effort and hardwork the main male character displays eventually gets some other women looking.

I hope people notice the other positive reviews that go into things I didn't cover.

This isn't a rage, but..

...god should make a law forbidding ugly men to be with pretty girl like Nagisa. hehehe

Well, aside from that, I think the story is a good read before you sleep, maybe after working all day long or something like that, since the characters are, well, not too much of personality complex but more of easy-to-pick characters. There are some stereotypes going with it, however, and that, I think, is one thing the author should be aware of in the next project. The readers are also given references to the real world, surrounding the story with some realism. It is not so much realistic to relate with, but the comedic depiction is clumsily able to relieve all that serious matters regarding the issue, replacing it with memorable, and somewhat ridiculous, results.

Overall, it would have been one of the best manga in seinen genre, if the author wanted to make it serious, but somehow, I'm glad he didn't. smile

Great story love the art work the only thing that makes it a difficult read it that the main male character is the biggest wuss alike and he needs to grow a pair. the female lead is ok hot headed but funny in my book.
If you can stand watching a man with nothing between his legs then its a good read,

It starts to improve after

Spoiler (highlight to view)
Masuo gets transferred to Hakata.

As a romance slice of life it does tend to drag on with pointless story arcs fueled by stupid misunderstandings, however they improve drastically beginning at that point. I wanted to read this after reading Orange Yane no Chiisana Ie, and I honestly did not expect that this would turn out much better. I mean, I teared up quite a number of times!

Stuff I didn't like? One would probably be how much of a wuss Masuo was, especially compared to [m]Orange Yane no Chiisana Ie[/i]'s Shoutarou. Another would be how annoyingly pushy Hamaoka suddenly became during the latter half of the story (I started out preferring her over Nagisa).

So yeah, if you want to read this manga do keep in mind that this is a romance slice of life. But if you're like me who can endure (and enjoy) this for a little less over 24 hours, then read on.

No, Shiozaki don't do it. Think of your future. What will your kids look like? It is a call of mother nature to always strive after a strong and self-sufficient man. The mangaka just wants to fulfil his out of this world dreams with this work. Pretty young and innocent ladies, stay away from this manga. Ugly middle-aged single men, welcome.

This manga is pretty much nonsense that takes on forever without further development. Lame main male character who look and act like an id*** even though surrounded by cute girls.

If you like reading manga that allows the main female character to be pushed down in a hotel or car, touched and dated by other boys and the main male character would just look and do nothing and worse the main female character would also do nothing but cry (ohhh little shy girl) then this is for you.

I couldn't get into it. It took forever for anything to happen, and the story was just a series of easily avoidable mistakes and misunderstandings, one step forwards, five steps backwards every chapter. One or two volumes and it would have been an amusing series. 17 (!!) whole volumes and it's just torture. I quit after volume 1.
