Description
From Shoujo Manga Maniac:
Shino feels totally lost in her life. She goes out with a past work colleague, Masaki, quite macho... and troubles at her work make her leave it. She moves out, takes her independence, moves away from Masaki and settles in a tiny room in an old building of suburbs. On her arrival, she finds a little garden she shares with her neighbours, a couple her own age. And little by little, she feels more and more attracted to the mysterious man who lives next door.

So much angst...I hated it and liked it. Read up to chapter 27 but I found the raws. It was cute at the end but heartbreakingly so. Like WTF

She "gets lost" in life for a while after the broke up (chp 27) and it seems like she dates around, even sleeping with her ex coworker. But none of them were fit for her. I guess none of them really loved her. She decides to visit her old neighborhood, and WHAT DO YOU HAVE HERE!! The old garden was engulfed with what used to be her dying plant. And it looks like he never left, hoping for the day she comes back... Ugh that really made my heart go PANG!! Because I really hated him when he chose to go to Akari...and lied to her about it....I WAS FUMING! Anyways, she makes eye contact with Kyou and quickly runs but he catches her and pulled her back. They argue and she pulls a tsundere move. Next scene you see her smiling widely with her baby, him and a whole bunch of her friends. Her best friend also had a kid and they're about the same age. It seems like they're all gathered together to celebrate both toddler's birthday.

I find this story to be really interesting.
Firstly, because the main character's first impression is 'crazy' since she talks to her ex in her head, but then she's also eccentric and quite realistic at points.
Secondly, because the way that Shino falls for Kyoshiro, but she hesitates constantly because she knows that he loves Akari and not her and that she doesn't want to ruin the relationship between them.
Thirdly, because all the characters have a characteristic that really captures the readers' interest.
As the story develops, you want to know more and more about the characters. Which is a very good effect.

just good, original
This manga is somewhat confusing with such an emotional and "twisted" girl.. but it is a refreshing change from typical shoujo with a lot of angst and sweet one-sided love.
