just read chp 2.
there are some shoujo cliches, but at least the main girl shows some intelligence in diffusing the fight, so i'm still hopeful.
the characters are cute, and there are some funny moments. Plus, i do like the idea of having more then one girl sharing with a guy. It makes it more realistic and less scandalous. plus the other girls make the love atmosphere less tense and gagworthy.
...so far so good. No big complaints, will have to read more to decide.

The harem only happens at the end but you don't get a harem ending it's a vague ending. It's not really clear if the main chick hooks up with the main dude.... and it's not like the other two chicks really fell for him except the prissy chick... The rocker/clubber chick falling for him was unnatural/forced so idfk why it has a harem tag... >,> except you can argue one dude x three chicks living together can be considered a harem but like I said it's not like all the chicks has feelings for him right off the bat/ at the end
Hell MAL doesn't even have this tagged as a harem manga... >,> I'll just leave it as a 'category' subtext

got rid of a lot of the irritants prevalent in the genre. no cat fights. no vacillation over which one she loved. no moments where the heroine repeatedly makes the same idiotic mistakes. the hero wasn't a tease or a jerk or a super idol. the friendships were vaguely reminiscent of those in Kimi ni Todoke and i found traces of a shadowed similarity to that manga throughout. and that's a good thing. i enjoyed it and wondered throughout when i'd get to the part that earned the relatively low rating. i never got there. and there are many worse with higher. weird.

I stayed with this one mainly for the art. The beginning felt very rushed and it seemed a cast of your stereotypical female protagonists. But eventually the characters fleshed themselves out a bit more, the relationship development happened a little more, and it caught my attention a bit more. The promise still seems a little silly and the fact that

they all had a little crush on Renjiro by the end
seemed forced but those are my only complaints. I cared about characters and how they worked it out by the end and that's pretty good for a 3 volume series! And as an added bonus the mangaka's style is SPOT ON for the bishi's!!! yummy!

Believe it or not, albeit the TONS of shoujo cliches. & there are A LOT. But, despite them, there are moments where it evens out. The protagonist girl is annoying; oh yes she is. But the other 2 broads ain't so bad. Now, the male lead is just so-so, & sometimes he's the one who is able to carry out the story; he tempers it from going into shoujo cliche hell. All in all, it's just "alright." I'd still give it a go if you have absolutely nothing else to do in life smile

The pacing at the very beginning was horrible, but I think it's actually slowing down enough to be enjoyable. Although it's increeeedibly stereotypicial shoujo. Despite that, I'll follow along it just to see if it does anything unexpected :3
