Description

Ichina is a 2nd year high school student. She lives with her mother Youko whom she hates with a passion. After getting dumped by her boyfriend, she ends up having a one-night stand with her best friend Sekitani, who also recently broke up with his long-time girlfriend. Will they become more than friends? And who is the strange guy who's waiting at home with Youko when she gets back?

The desirable Tsuu-chan from Yogoreteru Hima Nanka Nai is a character in this story as well.

I read the first ten chapters got bored and read the ending. Somehow I couldn't get into the characters. The main girl was easily swayed by the flow.

The story plot was a good one...
Overall, I agree with the statement that MangaGhost said, saying:
"However, I got irritated as it went on though with the false incest trope. Mostly because they were teasing about it for so long. Sorry, its still family blood related or not and yet everyone is ok with it? Have some guts and either make it true incest and deal with the consequences of that or don't bother throwing it into the story. When you pull the false incest trope we can see it coming a mile away and that becomes annoying because it then becomes predictable."

I also personally thought that this manga should have been much more shorter overall. I was really tempted to drop it after chapter 15, because from that part on it was pretty ovious what the rest of the chapters were going to be about. --The characters that popped up in Zig Zang Don had to be one of my pet peeves beside the pacing.
Talking about the whole manga I would have to rate it not so good just because of the pacing and blatantly apparent upcoming events, along with the infuriating characters.

I didn't know that I would come to love it.
The Characters was well made because they may have annoying traits but they move the story.

It wasn't draggy, in fact, It's a page turner, every chapter counts to finding out the mystery behind it and waiting for their honest feelings to be told.

I'm very interested with the character "Tsuu".
She appeared on the author's past work, Yogoreteru Hima Nanka Nai.
I mean she was introduced as the ultimate slut, but her movements and personality is very intriguing.

Good family drama, cheap incest ploy, rapey at times

The family drama was for the most part pretty good and I really liked the mother-daughter relationship. I thought the emotional confusion that happens when you get sexually involved with a friend was decent. It could also be funny at times which was a plus.

However, I got irritated as it went on though with the false incest trope. Mostly because they were teasing about it for so long. Sorry, its still family blood related or not and yet everyone is ok with it? Have some guts and either make it true incest and deal with the consequences of that or don't bother throwing it into the story. When you pull the false incest trope we can see it coming a mile away and that becomes annoying because it then becomes predictable. What really ticked me off was all the guys forcing themselves on the girl. They always ask for her forgiveness and she either says ok or "its partly my fault because I didn't resist". What the hell? Some guy forces you face down onto a kitchen table and has his way with you and you're partly to blame? Then she ends up with the

messed up creepy guy, because in part she feels sorry for him (yea, she loves him but she wants to take care of him because he's a bit of a bad boy with an injured soul, sigh). Some of this stuff is cliche and par for the course in shoujo manga, but the story was doing sooo well without it that it wasn't necessary.

So in conclusion, I thought it was a good story that sucked you in, but for me it gets ruined with the forced sex and the inclusion of false incest that just felt like a cheap grab at being shocking.

I did not like the characters they were annoying and made me feel irritated. The story was interesting but I just didn't like Ichina. She was getting involve with people without fully understanding what she was doing.

I don't really know what to think about this one. Sometimes i get the feeling that all of the characters have serious mental disorders or something like that. They are mad. Although it could be because of the translation, but their way to act is really weird. I don't really understand their reactions, the way they yell, smack and hurt each others gives me a weird feeling.

Is it really that bad to tell your 'grown up' daughter that her father is in a coma because of an accident that you have to disappear from home for two weeks or for almost a month without saying where you are going?
When your daughter being a kid that doesn't know who her father is, asks you about him, is it normal to show her pictures of a bunch of guys and tell her "look at them, he is your father so you should know who he is by instinct"

Anyway, it is a good plot, but i don't like the way this story is told at all. To put it simply; Confusing

I really feel like this manga has me in a constant state of confusion. haha There seems to be this mysterious past surrounding Ichina's mother that is just endless and involves everyone she knows, making it even more complicated. Every time one thing is half explained, there's two new mysterious things that pop up. You never know what anyone other than Ichina is thinking either, which is similar to real life I suppose, but all the characters and their motives are so hard to read. Maybe I'm just not smart enough for this manga. haha But, all the plot twists keep it interesting. I keep reading hoping by the end everything will fall into place. 🙂 maybe then I'll reread it knowing everything. lol

Also, don't let the incest type of weird relationships deter you

as of the latest chapter I'm pretty sure they're not actually related, though this could change. I feel like one chapter they're related and then the next they not. no consistency. lol

mmmmmm, not shoujo-cliche shit at all! yay or nay? yay for me.
it is a bit awkward... the relationships between them, but for some reason I just totally ignored how weird and wrong those relationships were and just continued to read... something about this manga made me want to keep reading.. although i have to admit the first chapter put me off for about 1 month... like wtf lol, but it gets better, only because of nukui and the mothers past and stuff.. makes it interesting. definitely recommended! 🙂

Interesting plot

Ichina and Sekiya obviously have an awkward relationship but the plots definitely thickens when Hidetarou gets involved. He's not really someone she should settle with either but then again who knows. Ichina is a smart and strong person but she does have a few quirks that make her vulnerable to making bad decisions. And unfortunately for her both guys are trying to sleep with her but you can see how she's trying her best to do the right thing.

complicated!! i'm confused on people's motives and i can't help thinking that people are more than they say they are or.. something.. haha, now i'm not making sense.

this is.. good. i think. i really really really want to know what's going on and what's going to happen. and this is definitly not your average romance shoujo! which is good! .. i think. no, it is. haha.

i do want to read more.. i'm very interested~ i might even look for the raws.. something i haven't done since flowers of evil.
