Once in Armian, Re-Manu XXXVII is awaiting her death. As it goes for years in history, the dying queen foretold the fate of her four daughters. Divination that would lead them toward their fate, and significance to determine the successor to rule Armian.

The beautiful Swarda is fated to marry a throne man of Persia. The smart and calm Aspasya will encounter a great leader of history.

But fate has its own plan to fool with their destiny. The first and the fourth daughter have their fates entangled, to both inherit the title of Re-Manu. There can't be a country with two leaders, so one has to given way to another. And of course it won't be the cold-hearted and ambitious Manua to give up the crown, who decides to exile her youngest sister.

Little Re-Syahrina has to start her journey to find a phoenix's feather to get back home, while the story is also concerned in Swarda's pain of being betrayed by her lover and sister, Aspasya relationship with a slave called Bahel, and the new Re-Manu who would sacrifice anything to fulfill her ambition, and her sisters aren't excepted.

Congratulations for those who get a chance to read this manhwa... (finally)!

I read this manhwa years ago in another language. It's intriguing, romantic and has bits of everything. Each of the Armian daughter will have their own story and the plot moves from one to another and I love them all! which is hard to find usually in a story.

I like the complexity that you can find in each of the daughter.

Manua, the oldest of all, is a cold and strong woman. She has this masculine quality and can be very seductive and manipulative when needed. Later, we learned why Manua the way she is. Then, we have the goddess-like Swarda who is very fragile and sophisticated. She's nonetheless far from the typical annoying cry-baby shoujo characters. I actually sympathize with her A LOT! Then we have the clever and kind-hearted Aspasya that will throw away everything for the person she loves. Syari, the last daughter, is the strongest, bravest and purest of all.

Their stories are unique and different from one another and you'll get different emotions by reading them. My suggestion is to bring a box of tissue and more of it because there's going to be a lot more tears as the story progress.

Most characters, even the pass-by characters have strong presence. I sympathize with many of them. One moment, you can turn from hate to love and then hate them. If you like this, you'll probably like Crystal Dragon but for now, I leave my review as a praise to the first manhwa I fell absolutely head over heels for. And yes, congratulations now that it's available in English!!

Beware: you're going to read about unrequited loves, forbidden love, love-hate relationship.

One of the best i've ever read. Breathtaking and extraordinary. eventhough it titled as shoujo and romance, it is not a lame, with a girl that started to cry in every chapter. You will find four women with strong characteristics you won't find anywhere, nice drawing and storyline that will drawn you mystically.

i would certainly give it ten but in the end of the manga there's something really disappoint me... something that maybe the other readers wouldn't bother... so don't worry about it, i'd suggest to read this manhwa even if you don't get used to manhwa before or don't really into manhwa like me... cause this one is definitely worth reading! smile

The half-chapter scanlated by The Oracle group seems very interesting. It's an historical old-style shoujo, even by the drawings, and from the very beginning it's obvious the work of research made by the author.
The scanlation group will stop the translation of this one if they won't find a Korean translator, so if you know the language and you think this manhwa deserves a chance, please recruit yourselves to the staff!

A 10 as encouragement is mandatory =)

I say awesome... the story is definitely something to ponder upon even after you have finished. The author's drawing skill is fantastic, I don't really see any character getting stretched to the height of a tower... >biggrin Have fun reading, really!
