It's always nice to read. You're never sure what will happen next whether it be good or bad, but overall it's a great story with great characters.

As a minor complaint, I feel like the mc could have been written in a better way. However, overall, I felt the story was just great.

It's not often that
In the background there is always that tension of Koharu snapping due to a misunderstanding or perceived slight. To balance that out there are lots of normal romantic scenes of Koharu and Akira slowly growing closer and getting to understand each other better. It is because of this character development that we can understand (and forgive) how Koharu reacts later down the line
I do have some issues with the manga though. I honestly think the Yandere aspect didn't need to be so heavily emphasized past a certain point. I think Koharu should have grown more over the series rather than Akira plainly accepting all of her weirdness. After
All in all, a great series. Unconventional heroine, cute art and a satisfying story!

a yandere gets the good end
, and just for that reason I am very thankful for this manga's existence. Koharu, our yandere heroine, is a tiny ball of sweet horror. At first she seems seriously deranged and delusional, but over time we get to see just how well meaning all of her actions are. She is always thinking about how to make her senpai happy, but unfortunately she does so in very...unconventional ways.In the background there is always that tension of Koharu snapping due to a misunderstanding or perceived slight. Koharu sexually assaults Mika I was hoping we would see a much more rehabilitated Koharu. I don't think she changed all that much after she snapped
. I also wish the side characters had gotten more development. Mika was really cute and great, but Natsuki and the other childhood friend felt pretty irrelevant. All in all, a great series. Unconventional heroine, cute art and a satisfying story!

This manga was missing something for me. I remember reading it through in one sitting, and even though I did find it compelling I also really found it lacking as well. I still don't exactly know what it is, but I suspect that it just doesn't go far enough. The author kind of played it a little too safe with Koharu in the end, she's a yandere but she's not really all that crazy (I mean she ain't normal but I've seen weirder IRL) and nothing really tests her relationship with Akira all that much. I still find this manga oddly touching at times, mostly because I like heroines like this who are at least more memorable than Generic Anime Love Interest Big Breasted Woman #23 who's main defining characteristic is that she's "nice" or something. Weirdos finding love, yay. Even though I assume it's not that hard if you're a small cute girl in the first place.

This is a manga about Mutsuki Koharu, a short yandere girl who has fallen in love with Torii Akira. It basically distills down the formula of a yandere's personality and antics without delving into extreme violence. Most of the first half simply isn't that interesting since the stories are unconnected and not much happens, but the introduction of the childhood friend jumpstarts the plot and also further illustrates both Torii and Mutsuki's characters. This manga illustrates one of the big dangers of a yandere character as an archetype, with Mutsuki's personality (whatever it was) being completely overshadowed by her unhealthy live for Torii. As one commenter put it, “she is a doll”. It's very disturbing in that regard and thus even though I rated it poorly I think it is good that I read this manga.

This manga is what happens if School Days had been written for and by mentally stable people.
The story goes somewhere at the end, is not as creepy(but still dark enough) as one might think at first and it did not turn into a sexual abyss as one might fear at the worst. So i can wholeheartedly recommend it and the seinen genre tag get´s earned don´t you worry. Not quite the cute romance the lead hoped for but a memorable one. I genuinely wonder what i would have done in Akira´s place and how my friend would have reacted. Things did escalate a bit in the second half after all. The author´s new one Sachiare! is also good too and has all sorts of deep kissing action.

both of them are, but that makes them perfect for each other. a normal guy would have run at the first sight of craziness, but this guy actually get more and more involved with her. the plot and the characters are not very well-developed, but i still like to see their antics. a good read.

She seems more gou-dere than yandere to me. It's a good story, but like other/s have said, it doesn't deal with the real problem.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
She's okay for now but if they ever had another bump in their relationship, even if it wasn't meant to happen, she might lose it.
Also I don't like that the relationship was so fast and we never really hear about the characters past much or really anything about them. So the characters aren't really developed, but since their was a psychological aspect going on that covered over the fact that we don't know the characters a little bit. Overall it was cute and enjoyable.Very adorable manga.

Cute romance manga with an interesting main heroine. While the plot never goes through much change, the relationship between the two main characters develops and ends very sweetly.

At first glance this is a typical creepy-yandere manga, but it does break quite a couple of norms. First off, pretty soon in the manga, his friends find out how crazy she is. They're all in it together, which I find awesome. Secondly, it's not his direct childhood friend who is also in love with him, which would have been just too much of a cliché. It's the childhood friend's sister, who's character is actually pretty interesting and well-built. She freaks the f*ck out discovering the girlfriends' yandere traits and discovers she wants the main character to stay safe from crazy, therefore she realizes she might love him. All in all it's interesting and entertaining.
