a casual manga simply about a two individuals, one recovering from a breakup of 5 years and the other a collecting hobbyist, naturally developing chemistry from hanging out and having fun. If you're expecting something complex with heartwrenching drama, steer clear of this one. Otherwise, you might enjoy a short 3-volume adventure into two realistic lives of adults making their way through life, but it wasn't my cup of tea, let's just say.

One of the coziest and fluffiest manga ever

It's cute and refreshing and relatable. Some mature themes (marriage, sex), but they're very casually integrated in with the quirky conversations between these "weird" (in an interesting way) characters. Makes you root for both Ozawa and Oyamada. Gives tons of feels; these two are embarrassing in all the right ways.

On a side note, I loved that part when Oyamada mentioned being an integrated systems engineer and all the work related stuff that irritated him and I, as a software engineer, can relate all too well. Good research, Mangaka-san.

one of the best executed stories so far i read. everything is just right dose for the genre. but the one thing i dont get why this kinda stories are in seinen genre, isnt there a unisex genre there or am i getting the genres wrong way? joseis are most of the time over dramatic romances, but this is also a passing josei for me 😀

A good and fast sweet love story.

This has to be, to me, one of the most deserving of the tags comedy and romance. The humor is not demeaning to one's intelligence. Despite it feeling, to me, a bit rushed at the end, the story progression is wonderful. Overall a very satisfying RomCom Manga.

Hey those of you who seek romance but right now are turned off by the cover of a man who looks like a homeless nerd. Don't be fooled by it. You get used to his appearance in 2 chapters. The story is absolutely awesome, no drama, comedy here or there, ordinary life, no 2000000 pointless chapters on thinking about confessing and stuff. Really guys try this. You won't be disappointed.

Certainly one of the cutest mangas I have read so far, and not only that, but it is refreshing and the drama is toned down and tamed. This manga is basically just about a quirky couple in love. but ADORABLE ADORABLE AND ADORABLEEE

Just great! Give it a try if you haven't already. It's about a baka couple without any stupid drama.
I laughed so much, they are lovely.
A perfect example of a couple of best friends who want to share their lives because they love being with each other, they love and respect each other and they have fun when they are together, even when they are just lazing around.

Bonnouji is a great little romantic manga. It has a small cast of warm characters, actual progression with the relationship between our two main leads and a satisfying ending. Really, there's hardly anything that I would say is outright bad here. So why isn't it getting a 10/10? Well, while the story is adorable sometimes I found that there wasn't much keeping me invested. The two main leads get together fairly quickly, which I like, but then there's basically no drama for the rest of the story other than one or two minor points. I don't NEED drama to make a story work but there was times where I just got tired of these two just sorta living their daily lives.

This is still a great manga that falls into my personal preferred length of less than 50 chapters. I certainly recommend a read, there are times when the romance is just too precious.
