You need to read the first story to get the second one

Heaven's Love is composed of two stories: 1) Cry's story, 2) Hard's Story
Cry's Story Rating:6
Sadly in order to understand the second story you have to read the first one. The first one revolves around this incredibly annoying main character called Cry (his name also sums up his personality). Good luck trudging through that one. (My comment's going to get a lot of hate from Cry fans, but think about it; had Cry been a girl would you have been so forgiving of his personality? I understand he has reasons for being the way he is, but that doesn't make him any less annoying).
Hard's Story Rating:7
-->Trying not to make jokes about being called "Hard" in a yaoi.
This story makes the manga worth reading. It sheds light on Hard's past and delves into his character, actually attempting to make him a believable person. There's chemistry between the couple, and love that feels genuine.
Personally I think the mangaka should have given this story more attention, since it feels like she was trying to do something a little unique over here. Had it been longer with more character development it would've made a fantastic read.
--> Also, bonus points for the men actually looking like attractive men, and not semi-attractive females.
Overall
The artwork's of the better kind and both men and women in it are attractive. The manga's short, to the point, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a light read with hot guys (or a girly guy from the first story)

okay, this isn't a TERRIBLE manga but it is definitely not as praiseworthy as many have mentioned here on the site. it's most memorable for its artwork if anything.
the characters are common and pretty stereotypical. sure, you've got your angst especially in the 2nd story but just because he got tattoos and acts like a real guy does not make it anything special.
anyway, aside from the gorgeous artwork, the characters and plot are meh at best. what makes a manga great is it's story, characters and plot. this does not have it. this was simply nice on the eyes. i'd skip it.

this one is trully amazing. with a good art and plot. cry were so girlish, i hate it. but... HARDXDUST couple really make me amazed! they were so cool! they were manly couple. with muscle and cool tattos. i love the tattos around dust's right eye the most. shit, i really love both manga and mangaka (i forgot her name). but, all her work are really really amazing.
Hard/Dust are more interesting.

Hard + Dust = The best couple in the story.
P.S. I didn't actually read the parts with Cry and Sig and them... so I can't comment on what they're like or if they're good.

The first story is cute and not totally amazing and pretty predictable. The SigCry couple is cute but its just like any other.
The second couple DustHard was awesome! It was hot and I guess two guys who are both muscular and not weak and wimpy are really nice to see. Art was good and sex scenes were ok.
I really recommend this one because the plot is fairly interesting too.
This is the only one by this mangaka I've read, but I'm definitely looking for more!

honestly i did like the idea for the first story but.... man, you mind just locks on to the Hard/Dust one and wont let go! now that's what I'm talking about! i think i only read the first story to see their banter in that too lol - did anyone else just stop on his sleeping face for a minute like "awwww" *O* hahahaha
i agree that there should be more of this!

what with the terrific art, and the interesting setting (i so want to know more about this world). but it doesn't quite live up to that; at least not with the first story, which is quite standard with a girly, crying (though admittedly very pretty) uke who's hopelessly in love with his best friend, who seems to be more interested in girls, while the uke's own brother is just a little too close to him, and jealous as hell -- and after all that buildup the angst gets all too easily resolved.
the second story has more meat to it; Hard is so screwed up that it's interesting to think about him. it also helps that both Hard and Dust are hot, punky with cool tattoos; they sizzle even when they just stare at each other, which raises the manga's heat index several points. i also like their banter, which continues even while ...
so, somewhat uneven, with more promise than follow-through, but superb art gives it extra points. also, excellent scanlation from SiH.

The Sig/Cry stories were boring. Cry was the typical abused uke, often mistaken for a girl, always being molested by perverts, jealous, in love with his best friend etc etc.
However, the Dust/Hard arc was a lot more captivating. Hard is SEXY, okay? Tattoos, long hair, bad attitude, singer/model and brother complex. He's so messed up in the head, but that just makes things more interesting.

The setting is interesting and the art is very pretty but the plot is average. The characters react predictably so it's just like every other yaoi story out there. Overall, it's not a must read or even what I'd call a fun read, but if you have a penchant for pretty drawing I suggest reading this. Even I have to admit, Hard's tattoos are HOT >.<

My goodness they were such a hot couple. I think their one of my favorite couples. This is my first manga by SHIMOTSUKI Kairi. I'm going to check out the other works by this mangaka.
Can't wait to see more *SMEX* : )
