Description
Hachiouji Tarou is an average 2nd year high school student. Since his father died, leaving him as the head of the family, he’s been constantly pulling his brother out of trouble. One night, when he came back home, his mother's head was rolling on the floor, and an evil spirit had hold of his younger brother. Instead of helping him, he hesitated and stood frozen with fear while the spirit got away with his brother. Now Tarou is on a quest to find his brother and exterminate evil spirits.

the art style seems like a cross between japanese painting and some of the most wicked grafitti ever. its so fluid that its like a wave of awesome sweeping across the page. the scans stop right as we get to a good part,so i hope it gets picked up soon.
It is not often that I comment on a manga but this one requires it of me.
The art style is nothing to laugh at. While in its essence it looks gritty in complicated, it is truly beautiful and clean. The panels seem to flow into each other making each page look like one large image.
The plot seems interesting enough but it can go both ways at this point; either towards a typical get powerful and save the world shounen, or something truly unique.
I highly anticipate the next releases for this series.

Undead (not to be confused with Kazurou Inoue's seinen manga) took me by surprise, from the trippy art style to its strong plot for a horror manga.
At first, I wasn't so sure if it was worth reading or not, but after giving this manga a chance, I reconsider my original criticism and have to say it is the best so far in 2009.
Can't wait to see more chapters in the near future.
