It's nice to see the quirky female character not being the lead in this one, but the rather calm and composed guy at her side. He is trying hard to convey his feelings, but is at the same time stuck with the fear of breaking the bound of friendship between them. IMO the pairing is also not unsual, because - Who seriously wants to date someone being similar to oneself? Kkk.

The artwork is done nicely, too. It gives off a soft and cute touch, which matches the whole theme pretty well and makes it worth recommending as a full "Shoujo" package. ^^

cute and shoujo sugary sweet, plus cute art.

the only substantial i have to say about this story, though, is that i feel like a pretty big issue was sidestepped. arai felt happy that satou did things for her, but it didn't address the fact enough that she wanted their relationship to be equal. i feel like that was the hugest obstacle in their relationship which satou was impeding in his misguided need to "protect" or "shield" her. arai was looking for someone to stand beside her, not in front or behind. if this sentiment was addressed more directly i feel like the story would have been more successful.

...... the girl is like me. shes not dumb, she jus wana do something different from normal daily routines. its refreshing. and shes impulsive, also abit like me.

.........which is probably why i find it so weird to read this, her romance with a guy that's totally not my type. i do know someone in real life thats quite like Satou, and i must say these type of guys are really nice and make good friends.

well, thats jus me, if it hadn't reminded me of real life people and myself, i'll probably like this more. i really like the author's way of presenting her story though, she did a good job.

It was funny, light and cute. I love the fact that it's told from the guy's POV. Everything's nice and realistic, no drama or annoying sap. I found the guy to be a likable character, so easy to relate to, and the girl, although kinda dumb like most shoujo heroines, is still interesting and cute in her own way. The romance and fluff was very plausible, which is rare in shoujo. I was 100% pleased with both story and art.

I found it very cute, and a bit angsty. The girl is just totally clueless while the guy is so caring, but ignored by her.
In all, I suppose it was a good oneshot, but it seemed like it only developed the guy, well, it was narrated from his point of view, but there should've been a bit of development in the girl's personality.
