From a tennis player

I do play tennis and i found the manga terribly unrealistic. I mean in the manga they do address the fact that she is brilliant to be able to play that well so quickly, but it really just couldn't happen. I know it's shoujo and all, but I think that the mangaka underestimates tennis. It's not just the ability to hit a ball; there is so much technique that takes so much time to develop. Also I think chapters might be missing from the scanlations between chapter 7-8. Cute characters though. Female lead is fine.

This could have gotten a 10 if there was a little less crying and a little more relationship developed (meaning a more imitate relationship between the leads).

I mean come on end it where he gets his leg fixed ,tells her he loves her ,and that's it? She doesn't even give an answer. I just dislike mangas that end with A solo kiss and a confession.

Despite the ending I still liked this enough to give it a 9.7 rating. Yes, I would recommend others to read this.

This manga was absolutely great! It is the one of (about 3-5?) the ONLY manga that has made me TOTALLY engrossed in the storyline eyes (with the help of a little bit of music!), and i have read about a little bit more than 100 manga... embarrassed

Could have been longer!

It was an alright read, it went by a bit fast and ended to soon. It would have been better if the author made this manga longer to at least show more tennis matches because all I saw was two tennis matches and a bunch of practices, in a span of 8 the hell did it go from her starting at the new school to eight months later. It could have also done better because it could have gone into depth on some of the other character in this manga. It also annoyed me to see this one girl that Ageha saved from getting rape, never mention that inncident again. They just go on living their lives like nothing happen the next day.... Other then that it was a cute story and I like how Ageha started to pick up on the moves that Takeru was teaching her. Not to mention how she started to get Takeru to fall for her.

Sakaki Takeru is really mean at first towards Ageha who loves Tennis because of him. He even destroyed her tennis racket(though that doesn't faze her at all). Later though when he see's how serious she is about the sport he begins to get better at showing his good side. Though he is still hard on her he does care a lot about her and tries what he can to make her better at the sport. Ageha happy that she can be playing Tennis looks up to Takeru and does everything he says for her to do.

Even if their is only two sports matches you can see how much she has learn from him and takes down her opponents. I only wished to have seen more of a development between her and Takeru and maybe more tennis matches.

Too short

It was actually a really good story but it's just too freaking short. There was way more material available than was utilized and some big moments we just kinda skipped. It really is too bad, because I saw a lot of potential in this one.

the heroine is my favorite kind. the one that is cute, works hard, doesn't complain, is cheerful, and has something she is really passionate about besides some guy.

the guy is the classic distant, slave driver, slightly, mean, but is secretly charmed by the girl type.

nothing to special about this yet
