One Volume in, and loving it so far.

Aside from writing some really emotionally-complex stories, one of George Asakura's strong points is her bizarre comedic sense. Although it may not be as hold-onto-your-guts hilarious as Heibon Ponch was, Teketeke's humor always manages to pry a smile out of me because her characters are just so adorable. I couldn't imagine empathizing with the romantic plight of a "gyaru", but I couldn't deny my feelings here. I really missed her comedy-driven stories after reading Oboreru Knife and Piece of Cake, which seemed to focus more on exploring the darker shades of relationships and feelings, and I'm glad this new work is lighter and just as enjoyable.
