I read this when I was a teen virgin and I thought it was boring, but pretty. I didn't understand or like any of the characters. A few unhealthy relationships later, I have a newfound fondness for this manga. It's definitely something you have to be mature enough to enjoy, I think. In the end, it really is about learning to realize what one has.

The art was good but, the lack of shades and stiff pen lines made panels a bit confusing for me. While I wouldn't call this a master piece I thought the manga touched on a very interesting character. So the psychological aspects of this manga was really enjoyable for me. Might not me the best story/plot in the world, but was still a treat to read.

It's rare to see this kind of manga, aaah! I love it so much! Like others said, it's so realistic! The pace is good, reader can flow problem within the main character, and it reach me, what the writer want to say. I like this phrase so much: "how could you couldn't see goods in someone who loved you so much?" --well, sounds like that.
I love how the ending goes, just like the prolog said, it's just simple, simple, relationships. We didn't think about anything complex, it just.. "I smile when you smile, and you mean a lot for me, a lot."

I could not relate to characters at all. A promiscuous girl, her lazy useless boyfriend, her former leaching boyfriend. Well yes I can somewhat understand the emotions behind their actions (girl wants to tie the man to herself and ready to give a lot for the sense of security) but it did not touch me. No surprise here me being a male.
I liked the simplistic drawing style which made me concentrate on thoughts and situations rather than pictures - I have read it very fast.

Interesting Slice of Life

It featured a lot of things that would happen in a usual relationship. I wouldn't say that it was a 'happily forever after story', but I did feel a sense of closure. Both characters are flawed and seeing their resolutions at the end was quite nice.

I just finished reading this... I liked it a lot. The story is told in a kind of quiet, subtle way. It's about Miho, a confused young twenty-something. Her boyfriend Sei is likeable, and the situations portrayed are realistic (it's all slice of life). As Miho struggles to come to terms with problems in her life, it's easy to sympathize and maybe identify, and hope that she comes through it all. All in all, this one doesn't sparkle, but it has its own glow about it. Lyrical and concise.

this story expressed my current situation perfectly...i felt that it had too many similarities with my life nowadays...one year ago i wouldn't be able to appreciate the situations the characters are into that much...and yes the art is really nice, very fragile and very poetic...i love the way the mangaka is drawing and after reading the story i got the sense that she was making this manga from personal experience

i'm very sorry "qwaszx" but are we talking about the same manga?i hardly saw any sex in it...less alone vulgar...its a very honest to real life situations, sentimental story

I just finished the last chapter today. It was a very, very unique and sweet manga. A nice break from the seinen or shoujo genres that i usually read. Kiriko Nananan's art style is simply gorgeous. There's no fast-paced action or drama, just a really simple, ordinary story of a girl and a boy, but that's probably its charm. It's so realistic!!! And towards the end I actually got really excited about it (can I just say I'm REALLY thrilled about the ending... so cute!)

I don't think it's vulgar. It's a josei so obviously there's mature stuff like sex, but it's not graphic or perverted or anything. Some shounen works are worse. Anyway, it was mentioned like only twice in the whole thing.

Its hard to imagine someone with the kind of motivation miho has. I guess she was messed up by her previous relationship. Clearly you can see her problems and the things she needs to work on. More obvious than her is sei's problems. They both are kind of destroying themselves sort of because of their lifestyle and choices. Still i think the use of sex in the manga was not needed, often times serious mangaka like these bid it mandatory for the charaters to have sex because it supposedly means something. For me it's a little to vulgar. especially in the circumstances portrayed. All in all its a very well done manga. With its own style, quiet yet conflicted.
