Description
From Tokyopop:
Kantarou, a folklore scholar living in the Taisho period, has various and sundry adventures. But Kantarou moonlights as an exorcist solving the problems of ghosts and demons, all with the help of Haruka, the legendary demon-eating tengu!
Note: The serialization was in a shoujo magazine: Comic Blade Avarus.
Update: For those wondering, no this series is not complete. At the end of Volume 15, it says it will be continued in a "second part" (aka sequel). I can't find more information than that, though.
I really like this series for various reasons. For one, it has a lot of lore and info, lot's of comedy, yet it maintains a more serious overall plot. The characters are hard not to like, even the bad guys (lol at Raiko in volume 6 or 7). The main characters are surrounded in mystery, so it keeps you wanting more. As for Kantarou's sexuality, you can think whatever you like...lol

It's actually heavily implied in the last two volumes that Kantarou liked his mother as more than just a mother...So maybe she's his only preference. Whatever the case, poor Kan-chan :(
I love Tactics very very very much! Anime is great, but manga...I have no words! I admire it! Cool story and art! Kantarou, Haruka and Raikou are so beautiful! And Sugino, Father Edwards and even Hasumi too! They are so hot! And Kantarou is gay and loves Haruka...I am fond of it!
Personally, I feel in love with this series. Both manga and anime. Good story, great characters. Give it a try, there is more to this than meets the eye.
