The idea is original and sounds interesting, but the development was lacking.
I'm guessing the translation I read wasn't the best one. Still, I'm pretty sure that the lead female didn't really get the development she deserved. There was so much that could have been explored, yet she stayed as psychologically shallow as she was presented (I doubt the translation was so bad that all the development was lost..).

ummmmm....

After finishing I was going "ummmmm" literally. The beginning was great really, but it seemed to be rushed going into the middle and especially the ending, short chapters didn't help either.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The ending was quite disatisfying, when she was brought back she was younger, do the artificial bodies grow the same as a normal human? Then when she meets up with Shinoda at the end, was that love between a man and woman or something like a farther and daughter. I know Noriko loved him as she was clearly saddened by him saying he had a wife. But what about him.
The thing I loved most about this manga was that is was quite tne unconventional herione, a black box.... It conveys a nice message with her being that way.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Remember the beginning when she ask Shinoda if he knew her and he kinda got akward as if he did know her, I actually got the impression that they were very close (like lovers perhaps)before losing her memories.

All together it was still pretty good, despite it being a little rushed towards the end, plus the art isn't bad, especially the men. o//p//o

seriously, i can only say "whut??!"
you know, seeing the heroine is just a box is quite...........er.......... unbelievable.
but after i read it, it's quite intriguing. the art is also very nice.
i'm gonna follow this manga till end
(to be honest, i tend to drop many manga. no matter how popular it is.)

I think it's more complicated than it appears

Anyways, I don't know why the low rating, the art and story is more than interesting. So far, I have a feeling this manga just might shift genre because i keep getting hints and pieces of odd reactions from the doctor, I get the feeling that:

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
he was somehow involves with her before, like the accident might have been his fault, he loved her before, etc
. So I'm gonnna keep reading and see how the plot unravels. Who knows I might be right or I might be wrong. But with 4 chaps out ATM at like 18 pg per chapter definitely give it a try wink

I bought volume one of this from the pretty cover (I'm a sucker for art ;_ ; ) and interesting blurb. It actually starts off pretty funny but dragged on after a while, with lots and lots of dialogue (and my bad language skills sob)... and got a little less interesting. Only a little bit though, there does seem to be a larger plot behind everything.

The art was very nice though! You'd think seeing a black box from different angles and zooms in each panel can only be so interesting, but it actually was quite cute. Hope to see this scanlated one day. (:
