A nightmare-devouring tapir becomes stuck in Akane's dreams until she can feed him a proper nightmare.
Oneshot (Complete)

I read the positive comments and thought I should finally give this one-shot a go, and so I did. Perhaps expecting it to be good affected the way I saw it but regardless I did like it. However, I don't think it was dazzling, I mean I wasn't wowed or blown away (not that that's easy to do for a one-shot). It was just a nice short story with an interesting concept. If it were a longer series and more in-depth emotionally it probably could have been a lot greater, but it is what it is. Also it's an added bonus that it had fantastic art. I really like how the people are drawn
ALSO just a heads up - the cover and info is pretty misleading. I thought it would be kind of creepy and sad but it was definitely not. It had little to do with actual nightmares. It might be a tiny bit melancholic. That's about it though.
I read A LOT of manga, including most of the classics and a lot of the well rated ones,. This was THE ONLY manga EVER to leave me speechless at the VERY LAST PAGE.
I was reading it, getting ready to check it as read and delete it, but after the last page I stared at the screen for about a minute. This is probably the only manga I know where the ending last page is better than the whole manga.
BUT it proved me wrong. Don't judge a manga by it's cover. c:
Hahaha. It was a really beautiful, yet sad manga.
I enjoyed it.
I also recommend this to any sad story lovers.
I love all this author's works 😀
This oneshot was beautiful...I'll admit it was a bit confusing, but it captures your attention with it's beautiful artwork and offbeat progression. It's slightly haunting, yet very sweet...
