Tipical shoujo manga...

Some stories were OK, but third one...
What the...
Well, at least it's not like some other shoujo mangas which go by recipe: "boy likes girl, boy rapes girl, girl falls in love with boy"...
Still, if that girl was smart, she could use that to her advantage, but sadly she's stupid...
Really nice example for targeted audience...

The third story

What the hell is up with the third story. It does not matter how much you dislike the person staying in your house--
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
you do not plan their rape. (Plus it wasn't even his house anyway. Like come on.)
That the author would even THINK that would be an appropriate story for her pre-teen audience is seriously f*cked up. There are already countless shoujo manga trying to pass off abusive relationships as "romance" but this has crossed a new line.

A Shoujo collection, just like they are.

Well, to begin with - This is a collection and to add it's including works from different authors, so let's first take a look on the chapters in detail.

Chapter 1: Friendly Fire (YOKOYAMA Mayumi) was a nice read, even though it is a well known setting, with friends becoming aware of their feelings after having sex. Yes, it's just like that, but I liked the characters and the drawing style, which comes up with good facial expressions and quite sexy muscules, also the authors humor got me. That's why, for me this one was a decent oneshot, worth as a beginning to this collection.

Chapter 2: B・F Romance (MITSUKI Kako) was in the midst a bit dragging and the drawing style didn't flash me, although it is apropriate and not badly done! It's just not my cup of tea, but I liked the ending and saw it as a cute conclusion of the storyline.

Chapter 3: Ookamitachi no Shiikuhou (SHIIBA Nana) is a weak one, so I agree with the other comments. Honestly, what is there to praise about the male counterpart of the heroine? In fact, I felt pity for the younger brother, since he seemed unable to stand up against the older one and looked from my (a more adult-like) point of view rather unsure/hesitant. It was made clear, why the brother became like this in front of girls, yet that explanation was just too weak to make their actions reasonable - and the ending was the last bit to let my expectations fall to the pits. I'm sorry, but a better conclusion, consistent characters growing or learning how to face their problems, would have been a big step forward and made the storyline match the quite likeable drawing style!

Chapter 4: 7 Days (KONNO Risa) is a nice read. The ending got me somehow and also the way, how the characters admitted still to have lingering feelings (for the other & the things they are/were passionate about). It's a oneshot worth it's while, but maybe not all that creative concerning the setting. Well, the drawing style meanwhile covers this aspect nicely. Kkk.

Chapter 5: Mikkai Coffee Flavor (MOTOMI Kyousuke) reminds me of the authors other works and lived up to my expectations. Not much to say, aside from it's a cute and lighthearted story, wrapped up in the known style. ^^

Chapter 6: Puchi no Koto (MAME Moyashi) concluded the volume in a bittersweet way.

All in all, it's a good read, covering up almost all Shoujo lovers wishes and a few weaknesses, which this genre just can't avoid. Sighs~

What the heck was up with the third story?

What the heck was up with the third story? It goes along quite typically - a girl moved into her father's friends home and there just happen to be two handsome guys who bully her yada yada yah - and then WHAM! Attempted rape by some cronies of the older brother, and both brothers have a personality switch?! Then back to the original personalities and everything hunky dory again?

Yeah, just skip it.
The second stories by the same author as Ai hime - Ai to himegoto. The story's quite good, it's got a slow pace like most of her works and there's nothing too melodramatic about it.
The others are average.

1st story was ok but nothing new
story 2 was a bit boring
story 3 was awful the guy was a jerk to say the least
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
and was going to let two of his friends rape her and all she thought about was the kiss he gave her -_-
this author seems to rely on hot guys in her stories but not an actual story I recommend you skip the dialogue and look at the pretty pictures
story 4 was nothing special
story 5 funny and cute love the author
story 6 didn't interest me that much
the couple on the cover aren't in any of the stories.

The first chapter was pretty so-so. And, I was just wondering, how do so many artists and authors come in to right these stories? Is it each artist per story or what's the deal? Haha, well anyways, can't wait to see the cover guy ^-^
