What i liked

I liked loulans relationship with the antagonist, at first i hated her and the antagonist cause i felt that he was using her for his own gain without reciprocrating her affection. And i did not like her getting involved in the competition. But as the manga focused on their relatiomship, i fiund them to be very likeable.
Qhat i hate is so often now, the antagonist keeps winning these battles, at this point, im skipping thw battles, cause the protagonist goes through hell in order to make his guess while the antagonist just already knows the answer. Like if you are gonna make the antagonist won, dont make a huge plotline for the protagonst, only for him to get it wrong
The manga is good, but mainly during moments where they arent fighting with eachother, whenever they are fighting eachother, our protagonist wins some, but mainly losses.
I hope this gets fully translated as while this is a great manga, i want to see how it concludes

Too complicated for me. If you're the type that doesn't love too many things explained and just there for the story's progress then this isn't for you (just like me lol) .
I love the concept, new and unique and you can really tell that the author gave so much time for the work. But maybe it's just too much for me.I've read it till vol. 3 but ofcourse i couldn't help skipping some parts :3 .
Maybe you'd enjoy this if your really a wine enthusiast or loves knowing new things (in a totally specified way) . Nontheless, i'd give this one a 7.5 maybe?

A meticulously researched homage to wine and its culture.
The British wine magazine Decanter called it "arguably the most influential wine publication for the past 20 years" and included the authors in their "Power List" 2009 as the 50th most powerful figures of the wine industry. And indeed, the KIBAYASHI-siblings did their homework so well that even wine connoisseurs may gain a deeper insight into the different brands', vintages' and regions' history.
The plot is simple and serves as a vehicle for the manga's numerous explanations.
Solely educational/ highly instructive: ★★★★

This manga is good. The art is suitable, and I love how imagery is used in describing the wines. The writer does a good job blending the information on wine into an interesting storyline.

This one is indeed a lovable manga. It's very unique, well knowledge, and have good artwork.
It make me paying interest in wine tasting, but sadly i don't have money to buy such things.
It remained me of Hikaru no Go, one of unique and best manga ever written. Because both stories are unique. And I love that!
i'm sure this series is one that I would never quit to read it.

The wine tasting expressions are quite exaggerated like in Yakitate Japan. It's quite formal this way, or one can say aesthetic, likening wine to painting..

I always find mangas with unique storyline interesting to read. And this is definitely one, ever read a manga about wine tasting ? Remind me about Glass Mask, you dont need a lot of romance or actions to make a good series
It surprising that people notice this series so late, if my Jap better, this would be one of many series i want to make its release faster.
BTW, its terminologys can be a challenge to readers have low vocabulary .

I for one, hope we get to work on this one more. I'm perfectly fine with my part in it, however, finding a translator seems to be a bit tough. There's a lot of very specific terminology in the dialogue. Not surprising since it's all about wine.

I'm not fond of wine at all, but I love a good manga. And this is a good manga. Plenty of tension despite the lack of shonen action, good art, and an interesting storyline. Looking forward to more.
