Description

A war correspondence photographer, Yoon Ha, wakes up from a five-year-long coma after being shot in a war zone while covering a story. He wakes up only to find that his boyfriend had moved on and found another partner. While Yoon Ha was able to recover from his war zone injuries, he's not sure if he can recover from the heartbreak over his lost love. Yoon Ha tries to get past the heartbreak by meeting other people platonically, sexually, or just as friends. The story is a tale of a journey to find healing for a broken heart. Vrey good but why the unecessary soap opera elements?

Great psychological story, intriguing premise with a grey shading, no black and white morality, which is so rare in manhwa generally. Nobody is in the wrong, nobody is the right. But then why the cheap soap opera elements? The whole character of Youngwoo was a complete letdown, this would have been a much better manhwa is only Taejoo's new boyfriend was a normal person who simply loves Taejoo, not a scheming, manipulative weakling. You kind of understand him too, but it's obvious from a 1000 miles he's a sore loser who will never keep his boyfriend, and this was so, so lame. This manhwa didn't need these over the top, un realistic moments Everything else was so realistic, so full of humanity and flaws. I also didn't like the seme too much, he's a cold and nasty person, but this is also too cliche and you never understand why he became such a user unfriendly bastard, so his excessive tsundere ways also becomes a soap opera cliche. It would have been much better if he were a guy who just can't understand the nuances and gentle nature of the uke so well, as it's not inherently something he understands. We needed more background on him but get so little and so boring. This two things were the only real blemishes on this otherwise good yaoi.

But this was touching, powerful and makes you think, so it's much better than 80% of other yaois out there. REC! Will bring tears to your eyes!

An addictive story

I loved the theme of war reporters and everything that revolved around that.I liked the resilience of the characters and the temporality of the story. The fact that the story takes place over time lends realism to the plot. And the events surrounding the trauma (physical rather than moral) of the accident. On the other hand, while I liked the leading couple, I would have preferred an alternative ending with the old couple back together again. It's a pity, I always prefer supporting characters in ML.

Such a great story

I really enjoyed this story immensely. I love how the characters grew up throughout the course of the manhwa. I also like the subtle details that the main character never really had much of a sex drive before he met Yoon. His love for Taejoo was more on a deeper level, less as a lover but more as a lifelong friend. It was really sad at times, but also really uplifting as well. I love how Yoon waited for him to be ready for a new romance with him. The New York sequence was so satisfying. I loved this story.

The story was really profound but also way too depressing for the reader. You have to read the story in one sitting, otherwise you wouldn't want to continue reading. I am a yaoi fan and was very disappointed that it was only a shounen ai. A change would be appropriate so that the story does not appear under the search of Yaoi.

I took my time after the end to digest the whole story.
This is a excellent read about parting, where no protagonist is really at fault here, and how to rebuild a life after death(?) of loved one.

It doesn't go the traditional route of reshipping former lovers which makes it novel

It's a bit sappy toward the end but still worth it.

I loved the character designs, the premise was good and story was mostly solid. I really liked the artwork. I felt it was a bit awkward at some parts, especially towards the end but was good nonetheless.

I do think towards the end there could have been a more clear distinction that some chapters could have been side stories and/or epilogue chapters.

I think their relationship future wise is a bit bittersweet since Ha Joyoon is not going to give up on doing tours in countries abroad. So even though the seme does accept and understands Ha Joyoon's passion, it is a bit bittersweet that there will always be a possibility that something happens again to Ha Joyoon whenever he does tours

Dramatic but ...

It's so ott and dramatic, well as expected from a manhwa but I enjoyed it a lot and not even bored and read it in one day.
Yoon character seriously bother me,he just so dramatic and annoying. He crying every damn second and there is absolutely nothing likable about him , he is the only reason I didn't give it a full 10.
The best thing about this work is kwon . Hands down he win over me. My personality is so similar to him , strict, realistic and cold outside and never take relationships deeply bc I hate to look weak, overly attached or dramatic.
I like how the way he fall in love too, it's done so good and his struggling was done nicely. That chapter he burn yoons ex was so good 😂

Very Beautiful

This had a very interesting premise that allowed us to look deeper into relationships. Regrets, hopes and dreams of each individual become a common ground to work on where both parties have to take responsibility on wether the relationship works out or not. The pacing was perfect and the writing simply beautiful. I've only took away 1 star because I think it could have been even better with less of the love-triangle drama.

To describe the story with this one quote:
"Don't forget, the person you're breaking up with, was once the person you loved the most. Remember to respect each other till the very end, so that the relationship you had remains a beautiful memory."

I love this story so much it was so different from your typical plot line. With that said some things that threw me off was several long hiatus periods towards the end of the story. For me it threw the pacing off completely.

As great as a story as it was I felt the end was a bit of a mess for me I’m not sure what it was missing for me but again it could have been the all the long hiatus breaks, it just threw it all off for me.

Overall I still highly recommend the story as the release schedule has nothing to do with the story itself. I think if I were to have found this after it has been completed already and just binged it maybe it would’ve been better for me.
