Better than average

The art and concept are very good assets of the manwha.
I feel like im left with an unfinished work.
I don't mind so much the lack of a proper ending as a "non-ending" can be a fine ending, it's rather the fact that a lot of content/characters/ideas have been teased and then never discussed again.

The manwha had actual content (as opposed to the vast majority of what's published today) but didn't manage to quite put it all together in the end.

Weird indeed...

This is indeed a tragedy. And it's... it fulfils its purpose, I guess. That's why I give it a 9. Would have been a 10 if indeed, there weren't a few things left unexplained.

Particularly bothering was the fact that a few characters just stopped appearing and kind of disappeared from the story at some point... which makes sense in the plot, and emphasises the fact that this is a tragedy, but obviously this isn't pleasant. And there are still some mysteries surrounding them left unexplained (unless I missed something in the story).

I must say that that was offset by the fact that the themes and messages and emotions were especially well depicted in the webtoon. So it does deserve a pretty high rating in my op.

(Actually now that I think of it... the concept of right and wrong is very interesting in the story... I guess we could almost say that there was nothing really tragic about the story, if we consider things from a broader pov.)

All over the place, confusing and full of plot holes. It might have made sense in the authors mind but he was unable to make it coherent in the manga. Got the feeling hes a newbie mangaka, the story is all over the place.

Ambitious.

This is an ambitious tale of devotion, revenge, and the inevitability of fate. I love it when it succeeds, but it's often really confusingly narrated, because its chapters and scenes aren't presented strictly chronologically.
Yet while it's a very uneven series, with some really confusing lows, this style also allows for some high points which just don't happen in, say, cookie-cutter shounen manga. That's why I rate this higher than it perhaps deserves - because it's *interesting*, which many manga just fail to be.

The series was last updated in 07/2014, so it may well never be completed. That said, its first, completed season ends, to my taste, at a satisfying point at chapter 32. While it leaves some questions open, it concludes *enough*. If you dislike reading series which may not get completed, I recommend you just read up to that point. Season 2 isn't as interesting anyway.

[right now i read it till v2 c17]
don't know why theres so many people that rate this one quite high (7+)....
the "Knight - Demon Lord - Princess" plot is cliche, the "tragedy" is pretty good, the "breaking uoboros"concept is not bad... but the way he do it is rather poor... i didn't feel anything from this... if the author can portray it in a better way... maybe this will become a good manhwa.... bigrazz
really too bad...

He then descides to save her but upon meeting her she has forgotten him only to be traped by the other knight and loses both his arms. Filled with sorrow he finds another opportunity to get her back and so he takes on the demon lords fate

"You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." This quote summarizes the plot of season 1 of this series. I highly recommend this work. You will not regret it.
