Thinking it was some average romance josei but as I read it, I found myself in awe of overclockers doing their stuff passionately, and got caught up in every single chapter which proved how worth this mangaka's storytelling was, it was just like sport (not exactly my cup of tea) but I was never this hooked as some avid manga reader. I knew bits of computer stuff to tweak for and yet I had never heard of overclocking before, without realising what I've actually been doing this entire time lol. But still, I guess that was enough to get me considering overclocking to study better.
Anyway. Typical 2010s drawing, and def good character development, I mean, I came to love all characters even cool side characters for example, that goddess like game addict who was soon to be wife, aside from Hanade and Mike of course. I was thinking about whether this was josei or seinen, it seems like both fit because at some point, lotsa unrequited love it was sorta odd enough to be josei and THAT POWER OF LOVE TO DO EVERYTHING lol, but then again, seinen is all for the sport and seriousness. Both, which did it justice.
The ending, all the characters had it good and no one wound up having each other like ikr lol, because it's realistic? No chemistry either and I suppose that's cool, however, I was secretly rooting for Julia and Hanade but ok. There was this, too, Hana who was the reason of this manga title, it seemed she still loved Mike one-sidedly by keep chasing after him, and she didn't mind it for absolutely no reason, well I guess that's her choice. I second with some reviewers here, it was all about Hana in the shadow, and it seemed like she didn't step out of it that much until the end so it sorta was meh. Do I like the ending? Well not exactly, but I wouldn't fancy the idea if Hanade actually wind up with such complicated woman like Hana either, just like Mike. Since there is really some people who are fine with where they are. I loved the entire series wholly, though.

This series is deceptively about overclocking. It's really a story of young people making misguided choices for the sake of trying to get with the wrong person. On the upside, by the end, most of the characters gain valuable experience from all that happens and pursue the future they truly want.

Except for Hana, she's terrible and reaps the fate that everyone was trying to steer her away from. But at least it was her own choice, I suppose.

I don't know why there's a low rating but this a fantastic series by Ninomiya! There's a lot of information and research about overclocking and if you know a few basic facts about computer parts, it's super enjoyable. The scanlation team did a great job translating too and someone who doesn't know a lick about overclocking can find this fun too. I'm also really content with the ending too because I didn't really feel any chemistry between the characters.
ridiculous and entertaining

The premise is ridiculous. I can't believe someone (this mangaka of all people) actually freaking thought a story about overclocking computers could be turned into a manga. And I can't believe its so freaking entertaining. What am I doing with my life.....
