Description
From Day of the River:
Since her parents are a little bit slow, Matsuda Erika (or Eri for short) has taught herself to be independent and extremely reliable. Moreover, she devotes herself to taking care of those around her—even if some of her classmates find her behaviour overbearing and annoying. One day, a strange new transfer student is introduced to her class. This boy speaks in choppy sentences, has little to no facial expressions, and goes by the name Nokina Kaname. Instantly, Eri feels compelled to take care of this martian-like new boy in her class.

If you are looking for some fluff, this one's a good choice. Both the lead characters are adorable. I liked how the story contrasted the difference between the girl's and guy's versions of being dependable people. It's refreshing to read a manga with two kind people falling for each other.

Well what say, really? Its cute and fluffy, the friends are nice and supportive, the male lead is adorable and there's no love triangle whatsover(a definite bonus for me). It just warmed my heart right up and brought a smile on my face
Truly a sweet work...

The story was extremely cute and sweet and I enjoyed every moment of the work. It was a light and easy read, but at the end I was left me wanting more. It was an excellent work, but I felt it could have been developed to a much deeper level that its shortness did not allow.
Plot- There really wasn’t any… nope, none. The plot centered solely on the characters, and showed just a short glimpse of Eri, the main female, falling in love. That was it, nothing else was happening, a true slice of life.
Characters- Extremely endearing! What the plot lacks the characters make up doubly. Eri is a sweet character who cares very much for anyone and is willing to accept all kinds of people. She is a more complex character than I first would have assumed, with insecurities and uncertainties she struggles with inside. I can’t see how ANYONE could dislike Nokina. He’s just so sweet and sincere and lovable! Though the work was short the characters were well fleshed out, and even Eri’s friends had some time to shine.
Art- Beautiful. 0.0 I mean it, it’s so nice and soft and smooth, and everything is just so well done!
Other- Perhaps a few scenes were a bit cliché, perhaps the story lacked any true direction, perhaps it could have delved deeper, but despite all that I truly enjoyed this sweet manga and I highly recommend it, especially lovers of shoujo!
6/10- liked it

This story was absolutely adorable. I mean, it really was. This is almost the exact definition of the adorable. I made sure to take my time while reading it, to absorb every little detail so that I could get the most out of it. I don't usually do that with manga's, even more with shoujo. But I loved this! It was very cute and oh-so-fluffy.

Cute short sweet story. Love the art and the flow of things. Friendship and a budding first love. What I appreciate in this story is that the friends aren't pushed away just because the heroine now has a love interest.
I appreciate stories where there are supportive friends. I find stories that have heroines with backstabbing friends, leading the heroine to depend completely on the hero. This was lovely and a satisfying fluff read.
