The people who like Nishigami are the same types who idealize Ted Bundy

Seriously. There's nothing cute or romantic about their relationship. He literally chokes Akira's best friend upon first meeting them and doesn't stop until Akira hits him. His reasoning for this is four people who got close to him in the past died, so he doesn't want anyone else to get close to him. His solution to this is utterly ridiculous, he tries to prematurely kill them himself. Nothing excuses that choking scene. He isn't cute and wounded and you won't fix him. I find it genuinely disgusting how many people like this character and think he is a good romantic interest. It feels just like when everyone got horny for Light despite the fact he was an unrepentant serial killer.

The author passed away already thus, this will never be finished.

It's sad because the story is booming potentials, so is the author.
Yet again I enjoyed the available chapters. It's humorous and quite a hook in the mystery aspect.

Nishigami and Akira is a bomb couple.

I hope one day that the artist or the author's assistants can get the courage to continue this work.

I didn't really have high expectations for this when I began, but it turned out to be a really neat little series that focuses heavily on character interactions and folklore.

The characters are all a joy to watch, even Itsuki, who starts out a bit annoying at first but gets better. And while the main guy may seem like a typical, angry, antisocial male lead, there's actually a lot more going for him, and the mangaka writes his intelligence really well. The main female lead too is very well-rounded and overall likable. Even with all the trouble she gets into, she manages to remain a dynamic and active character.

And, for a manga all about resurrection, death isn't treated as something cheap either. In fact, death seems to gain even more significance now that resurrection comes to the table. How much are you willing to sacrifice in order to resurrect someone? seems to be the question that the manga has brought up subtly a few times now.

The overall plot too is very interesting, and while there doesn't seem to be an enormous overarching plot of, say, saving the world proportions, there is definitely enough mystery and intrigue to keep me interested. I'm honestly curious as to where this manga will go from now on, since the mangaka has left it very, very open in terms of direction. There definitely seems to be some well-thought out, underlying mystery going on here, though, so I'm definitely interested in reading more!

It has appealing art, an interesting premise, and is generally suspenseful without being too dark overall (though I guess it kind of is for middle schoolers to deal with). Not much has happened yet plot-wise but hopefully more will be included about the main characters later. The main protag. has a good head on her shoulders, she's a perfect standard lead (and the main guy is kind of a weirdo, but I like that). Overall, it has potential and I look forward to more!

hopefully someone picks this up soon so more can be scanlated! :<
