Too hilarious!

About 5 years ago I picked up this manga and I thought it's stupid so I dropped by first chapter but I don't know if my comedy meter just dropping through the years but I picked it up again and can't stop marathoning in 3 days because of how hilarious it is.

Maybe 5 years ago is when I started reading Chinese novels and all their edginess so now I come back into reading light hearted stuff with MC that's actually good and kind like Saiki. He's a tsundere but he really treasure his friends, and the whole world!

I forced myself to read 20ch but they were all terrible .All chapters are basically overstretching the rule of funny trope ,with an off voice narrator that's the MC himself, but commenting as a stoic outsider. I the chapters were half the length it would at least be bearable .

What's worse is that the random bonus chapters from other series were better than the main series.

Super meta and fourth wall breaking in the best way. Introduced a lot of characters but they are all distinct and hilarious in their own way

I liked it, but the anime worked better

So, my subject pretty much says it all. This was one of those cases where the anime did a better job than the original and the voices/sound were spot on and truly aided in making it funnier. I read through the manga after going through the anime and found the manga to be less funny, to the point where I started to search after and only read chapters or parts that were skipped in the anime, which honestly wasn't much. Sadly, even those pages rarely made me laugh, it just wasn't as good without the wacky voices and animations.

Now, it's not bad even so, I just recommend the anime over the manga. It's a great manga with a lot of jokes, being truly hilarious at times. Thanks to the versatility of the ESP, we get a lot of different situations and it doesn't feel too repetitive unlike many other comedy manga. Well, after 200+ chapters, I honestly felt like I was starting to get a bit bored, I recommend spreading this out a bit more and not read it in one or two sittings. Maybe you could even spread it out between manga and read some other manga after reading a few dozen chapters of this manga before coming back to read a few dozen more.

This story is pretty much the story of saiki, the all-powerful, god-like esp user that has too OP powers which interferes with his daily life and causes many issues, especially since there's no "off" button for many of them. This in turn causes many different situations where he's being bothered and has to deal with stuff related to the powers, from holding conversations with cocky animals to trying to control his powers so that he doesn't accidentally kill someone or blow away half the city and everything inbetween. He has a pretty cynical attitude and thinks of everything as a bother, although it doesn't stop him from helping people and trying to do stuff.

Honestly, I held off on reading this for quite a long time because... Seriously, let's be honest here, he looks retarded with the balls on his head and green glasses along with dead eyes. I kind of assumed it was some stupid crap made for young teens or kids thanks to these things, well, it just didn't give me a good first impression. I couldn't have been more wrong, so if you're like me and judged it by its cover, give it a few chapters, it's certainly not that childish and stupid.

This is another awesome gag series, meaning it shouldn't be taken to seriously and its a lot of fun with hilarious moments. The story just revolves around the MC his Godly powers and all the craziness that happens around him while hes trying to be an normal as possible. Its a gag manga like i said so things dont have to be taken too seriously but One punch man is technically a gag manga too and it would be great to see a all out fight between Saitama and Power unsealed Saiki. Yea this series reminds me a lot about it in the sense that both leads are extremely powerful to Godly levels but are kinda bored and disconnected with life because of that. Anyway this is a great read to get some good laughs

That chapter alone, which I cannot remember the number of, is beyond funny for anyone who has ever read a single chapter of a shounen manga. OH! And the one that talks about video game characters! OH!!! And EVERYTHING!!!

And you learn, if you read enough of it, that
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
even beautiful girls gotta poop, as Oaitdark quoted,
and so your psi-less life
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
ain't so bad after all.
Perspective FTW!
